Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Its difficult to determine the exact problem and best solution without a photo. If it involves the abdomen, perhaps liposuction alone may be effective, however, if it involves the breast, you may need another intervention. I would consider re-posting with some photos.
Weight change might affect the size and perkiness of your breasts. Results of surgery could change in the future with significant weight change or pregnancy. The milk of pregnancy could change your surgical results. After pregnancy, your breasts could remain the same size, slightly bigger, slightly smaller and/or droopier. And, what can happen, can change from pregnancy to pregnancy. I recommend, if and when you are ready, an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author RealSelf Distinguished Hall of Fame Inductee
Hello, thank you for your question. It is hard to tell without photos, I recommend you to schedule an email, Skype or in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for proper evaluation.
Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs but the breast lift technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time, lifting the breasts will pull up any loose skin right under the inframammary fold.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
The underboob roll, as you call it, is not uncommon after a tummy tuck because the pulling is done from far away from the breasts. A breast lift can be designed to tighten the skin under the breasts. It’s effectiveness does vary a bit from person to person.
Thank you for your question. It is hard to determine what would be the best procedure for you without pictures or an in person examination. It may be a matter of liposuction to the upper abdomen or it could involve a breast lift depending on the exact problem. I would repost your question with pictures if you feel comfortable or have a consultation with a plastic surgeon to help determine the best procedure to help you achieve the results you desire.Kamran Azad MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dear samakas,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If the role is under the brest, then breast lift probably won't have any effect on it. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your questions. Without an exam, or at least some photos, it is very hard to answer this question. In general, lifting a breast will not help with any area outside of the breast such as the upper abdomen. My suggestion is to discuss your concerns with a board certified (ABPS) plastic surgeon. A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, can improve the appearance of sagging breasts but may not directly address an underboob roll, which typically refers to excess skin or fat beneath the breasts. However, depending on the specific case and the surgeon's recommendations, a breast lift may indirectly help improve the appearance of the underboob area by tightening and lifting the breast tissue. To address the underboob area more directly, additional procedures such as liposuction or a tummy tuck may be considered. It's important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your individual goals and options.
If this roll is breast tissue, then, yes. If it is upper abdominal fat, then you need liposuction. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing your options.
Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and...
Hi, thanks for your question. Based on your photos, you would be suitable for breast implants alone to improve the overall volume of your breasts and improve upper pole fullness. You could always consider having a small uplift procedure at a later date if you were not satisfied without. This...
The amount varies greatly among women. The more loose skin that is present, the more the areolae can be reduced.
