I vote inframammary. This is the most direct approach and there are advantages. The precision of your sub-muscular pocket (the space that will hold your implant) is much more exactly dissected using the inframammary approach. My colleagues have voiced their opinions regarding the incision (scar) and in most instances the inframammary scar heals well and is difficult to see unless you are specifically looking for it. Choose your board certified plastic surgeon with experience in breast augmentation and let them share their thoughts about the approach they are most comfortable using. Both incisions can work.

It is difficult from your photo to see the areas of your concern, but if in jeans you see an accumulation of fat at the hip rolls ("muffin top") you can very successfully correct this with liposuction under local anesthesia with light oral sedation. If the liposculpting involves multiple areas and requires blending of these areas, I often use a general anesthetic (administered by a board certified anesthesiologist). This allows me to be most consistently successful in reaching my patient goals. Liposculpting can produce very beautiful results.

I came to him because after children, my breast were empty C cups. He must have went though about 5 consults with by the time we scheduled surgery. He was kind and direct, with more knowledge than I was prepared for as far as what to expect. The first three days post op are the toughest, but not anything to be afraid of. It been 3 months and they have settled beautifully. The scars are smooth and barely visible with their placement being under the breast. Updated on 5 Oct 2023: I am still happy with my choice in using dr bounds because he was professional and courteous and the staff was great. I came to him with concerns post surgery about my left breast having issues with dropping like the right one did. The right breast looks exactly like what I asked for, a natural slope and obvious that I am a mom. The left breast didn’t drop at all (not even with banding myself at night and during the day). The left breast literally looks like it belongs on a 20 year old who’s never touched a baby before. He told me they are beautiful if you put a split screen between them and he’s right. But I asked him if he would be willing to go back in to release it, by lowering the pocket and he said he felt confident he could make them more even, but probably not fix it permanently (because they just can’t be exactly the same - which I understood). I just don’t want to be told how pretty my $6k investment is WHEN/IF I use a split screen. I wouldn’t be as sad if I didn’t have to pay another $2650 to correct it; considering I was already sticker shocked paying $6950 the first go round. Sisters not twins is acceptable, (but these are a full inch apart in height). Flexing makes them look insane and it’s very embarrassing when you’re in the mood and in the moment, when both are pointing north east and south west. I am going to continue saving money and hopefully it will still be quoted at $2650 when I can get back in the fix things. I waited the full six months before telling them I wanted it fixed. Don’t be like me, afraid to say, “you said your rate of $6950 was because I’m getting my moneys worth, so please explain why I must pay more now to get what I thought you were selling me the first time”. I am not angry with the practice or dr bounds, I’m just sad that I’ll be paying almost $10k for mostly even breasts that really only look presentable if you cut me in half vertically. You get it. Dr. Bounds is amazing! I had my breast augmentation a little over a month ago, and it was the best experience. I was nervous leading up to the surgery, but Dr. Bounds and his staff made me feel so comfortable. Going into surgery, I wasn't completely sure what size to go with, so I asked Dr. Bounds to pick the size that would look best on me because I didn't want to go too big and wanted to keep an athletic look (I'm 4'11", 105lbs, athletic build). He ended up going with 280cc silicone, and it looks perfect! I'm so happy with the results. Highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bounds of over a year now and I've had three procedures so far, when I first met Dr. Bounds and his staff, I had a condition known as Hyperhidrosis which caused me to sweat profusely under my arms, especially in the summer. Dr. Bounds suggested Botox injections. Dr. Bounds and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, they kindly welcomed questions and concerns and by the end of my consultation appointment I felt very comfortable with the treatment he prescribed. On the day of the procedure I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Bounds and his nurses have amazing bedside manner, and despite the slight discomfort during the injections I was sweat free for an entire summer. The next two procedures I had done were reconstruction of my left breast and breast augmentation. Both procedures went extremely well.
