Liposuction will remove excess fat but not the excess skin. You can see the horizontal crease at the umbilicus already when you sit. This may be made worse if you undergo liposuction alone. The better procedure would be a tummy tuck.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Thank you for your inquiry, based on photo it looks like your a candidate for tummy tuck in order to obtain good results, a flat tight belly. Liposuction on its own will not fully improve results, however if full tummy tuck with muslce repair combined with liposuction is done you will have better outcome results. General anesthesia is not used for this procedure, I.V sedation with epidural is used. I suggest seeking board certified plastic surgeons to discuss further details. Best of luck!
Liposuction will decrease the overall volume around your abdomen, however if will not change the appearance when sitting. A zone of adhesion is the cause for the creasing in your abdomen when sitting. Everyone has zones of adhesion; some are just more pronounced than other's. Liposuction can be done without general anesthesia, but is considered more comfortable to the patient when they choose to be put to sleep.
Hi! this is Arzu from Dr. Caner Kacmaz clinic. The only solution for the skin excess is tummy tuck. Without surgery there is no way to remove itKind Regards
Liposuction is the best way to reduce fullness in the lower abdomen with minimal scarring and excellent results. It can be done under IV sedation or even local anesthesia for very localized areas of treatment.
Judging from your photos, it appears you are a good candidate for liposuction, especially if diet and exercise failed. Don't be swayed by glossy ads for sexy liposuction machines. The most important factor you should be researching is your board certified plastic surgeon. The skill and experience of your surgeon is the determining factor in getting the best possible result! Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.
Local anesthesia is so safe and easy with by far the best results for most lipo procedures since you can stand the patient up and turn in all positions to fine tune the results. It is more expensive but so worth the better results!
You can do awake liposuction and avoid the general anesthesia. Afterwards, you can do EMSculpt treatments to help tighten and pull your muscle in for a flatter look.
If you are wanting the benefits of liposuction without going under general anesthesia you may consider BodyTite. This minimally invasive procedure can remove fat as well as tighten skin. It uses RF technology both above and just under the skin's surface. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.
In looking at your photos, it appears that you could benefit from two different operations, depending on your ultimate goal. That being said, the first operation could be liposuction core 360 combined with light for Vaser Pilates Etching and the use of renuvion for skin tightening. An alternative operation could be core 360 Lipo contouring with some form of Scarless belly button tummy tuck.
Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. We don’t know if you’re a candidate for liposuction of your lower extremities. Lower extremity liposuction is technically difficult in the procedure often does not give the results patience and hope for. It is not a strai...
At eight months post op you are seeing your final results. If you are not noting improvement to the area you could consider a small revision to improve the contour. Because this area is small you can likely address it in a office surgical suite under local anesthesia.
Removing excess fat from under the chin is safe and works nicely with liposuction. However, removing facial fat may make you look much older in about 20 years. I would caution you against doing this.
