Liposuction vs Acculift for removing facial fat?

Which is more effective at removing facial fat, Acculift or liposuction, what would be the percentage of the fat removed for this two procedure.? Please let me know, it will be very helpful for me to decide which procedure to do.

There is not a one size fits all when considering procedures.  This is where the expertise of your board certified plastic surgeon comes in.  After an examination and discussion of your goals your surgeon will recommend procedure will best help you achieve your desired outcome.  When selecting a surgeon be sure to review credentials and look at before/after photos of her/his work.

Removing excess fat from under the chin is safe and works nicely with liposuction. However, removing facial fat may make you look much older in about 20 years. I would caution you against doing this.

Doing so can lead to irreparable undesirable outcomes and premature facial aging.Most facial aesthetic issues are not based on the thickness of subcutaneous fat. Getting an accurate understanding of facial aesthetics, and why someone has the appearance they do is paramount in choosing the correct procedure.Consumers should be careful in making self diagnoses and prescribing their own treatments.I suggest having multiple in person, consultations with senior board-certified plastic surgeons in your community to get a quality assessment, and better understanding of treatment options.Be careful when choosing permanent irreversible altering procedures especially surgery that doesn’t have a solid track record.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
