Hello, I have very pronounced nasolabial folds that I can't seem to improve. I've already had juvederm injected in them and also voluma in my upper cheek but the folds are still very prominent. Any suggestions?
Answer: Morpheus 8 Hi @vmcneel! I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Fillers for nasolabial folds I tell people that those folds with NEVER be "gone", but they can be BETTER. Fillers are the best option and when you are older a mid face-lift can help reduce the fold, but it is like a crease in the palm of your hand and will never be gone completely. *Opinions stated here are only opinions. They are not based on a physical exam which is recommended.

Answer: Filler to nasolabial folds Although you cannot eliminate the nasolabial fold, you can certainly soften this area with fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. Because you already have had filler to the cheeks and nasolabial folds, I suggest doing a conservative treatment to this area. In order to determine if you would benefit from additional filler to the nasolabial fold, and potentially to the cheek area, I recommend an in-person examination with a facial plastic surgeon.

Answer: Nasolabial folds correction Hello and thank you for your question. Nasolabial folds form due to gravity effect as well as loss of volume from the mid face. It sounds like you already had appropriate approach to correct them but still are bothered by them. Your cheek curve is already pretty high, so I would not recommend injecting more Voluma to lift the skin. I would consider adding a vey small amount of filler to the corners of your nose to decrease that shadow effect which makes the folds noticeable to you. Another option is Nova Threads and Ultherapy for skin tightening. I suggest you have this discussion with the provider that performed your treatment and come and compare before and after photos. You don't want to over do it, as not having any nasolabial folds does make you look a little weird and unnatural. Hope this helps. Best, Dr.Avaliani.

Answer: Dermal Fillers Thanks for your question. Dermal fillers are an easy and effective way to treat these areas of concern. They can be done effectively by advanced injectors in your area. They last 9-12 months or longer in most cases and are completely reversible.
