Dr. Devani is great! I will definitely be recommending him to all of my friends and family. I’m 31 and was starting to get some deep lines in the middle of my forehead, and crows feet, Dr. Devani made them disappear. He really helped me to get my confidence back.
What a great experience! I have had Botox before but I was nervous about getting filler as I had never had this procedure before. Dr Devani and his warm, caring staff took the time to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease. I’m so happy with the result. What I really appreciated was that Dr Devani listened to what I wanted (not too much filler - just a subtle amount.) The results are natural. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
Finally got rid of these laugh lines and crows feet. I went for a consult before my procedure to get a better understanding, and Dr Devani advised me to see his instagram for some results to prepare for what was to come. I originally went in just for my laugh lines, but ended up getting both my eyes and forehead done. Great doctor, straight to the point.
I was a little nervous getting botox for the first time but after meeting with Dr Devani, he explained to me everything I needed to know and assured me it would look great. I am so glad I listened to him because now I love what I see. Thank-you Dr Devani for the great results, I'll be back in a couple of months!
Dr. Devani is hands down the best dermatologist in the province. He’s straight to the point and knows exactly what he’s doing. He gave me Botox and lip injections and both turned out amazing. He’s a Doctor you can trust for exceptional results
I have been getting headaches almost daily for the last 4+ years. I've tried just about everything to get rid of them, but nothing worked. When I heard that Dr. Devani does botox injections for masseters to help with headaches, I had to try it. I had the treatment done in October of 2016, and within a week the headaches were GONE. Last week, I asked Dr Devani for botox in my forehead to treat and prevent early wrinkles. I'm in my twenties, but I'd already started getting very pronounced lines on my forehead and I hated looking in the mirror. I'm really happy with the results because I don't look unnatural, and I can still make facial expressions, but the lines have disappeared! I also feel like I look more awake, which is a nice bonus. I'm so pleased with the results I've gotten! Dr. Devani is a very knowledgeable and personable doctor, always happy to answer any of my questions and give me the best care. I've recommended him to all of my friends!
Dr. Devani did a fantastic job with my filler. I'm so happy with the results - I look the same as in my old passport photo. He was very professional and personable. All in all, it was a very positive experience.
Amazing experience. Dr. Devani treated my masseter muscles with Botox. I was experiencing pain and difficulty chewing food before the treatments - this has all resolved because of the injections. My face is also much slimmer. I am thrilled with his explanation of the procedure and gentle touch.
Dr. Devani and his team are true professionals and the absolute BEST at what they do. I've had several procedures performed, I always leave feeling more confident, look more refreshed and no one knows my secret... isn't that the goal. The latest treatment was Kybella, to help eliminate my double chin. I really appreciate Dr. Devani's knowledge about all the options we discuss and his open straightforward manner in covering how the treatment will go and any possible side effects. The procedure itself only took a few minutes and was much less uncomfortable then I had expected. Although there was virtually no down time, my neck and chin area was slightly tender, swollen and bruised for about a week after. Again the recovery was significantly easier then I had anticipated. Second treatment is today (estimated 3 rounds of treatment) and I have no concerns going in. Cannot wait to see the end result!!
Despite being active since my teens (sports, working out, etc.) I have never really had a waist to speak of and a very round stomach area no matter how much I work out. I'm 5'7" and about 155 lbs. I thought for my 50th I would like to try coolsculpting as I've heard a lot of good things about it. I went in last Friday and after the consultation, the technician and I decided to go with four large applicators on my upper and lower abdomen areas. I sucked it up (no pun intended) and did the four areas in one visit (4 hours plus the in between time). The time went by remarkably fast. Texted, work emails, even slept. Gave me water and snacks. As a lot of the reviews say, I would agree that it was uncomfortable, (most notably the massage after each treated area was done) but nothing I couldn't handle. I probably have a higher tolerance for pain (two kids, had both naturally, no drugs, etc.) It really wasn't that bad at all I thought. I have been swollen in the stomach area for past couples of nights, but nothing intolerable. Took Tylenol twice, but honestly I don't think I had to. I'm on day four now and only this morning did I feel a slight nerve type sensation. Just sight pricking from the inside, but nothing like I've read about from some people. Almost tickles, not much more than that. The technician was awesome. I am waiting for the 'before' pictures from the office, I only took some on day 1 after the procedure and then day 3 (yesterday). The first couple of days I wore spanx but since then I haven't felt like I needed it, depending on what I wear. Still swollen. It feels like I ate about 3 big turkey dinners. Hope for some good results in 3 weeks or so. I'll post the before pix when I get them. Thanks for reading and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Updated on 6 Apr 2017: Updated on 6 Apr 2017: Updated on 16 Apr 2017: Feeling good, almost completely back to "normal". Still numbness in the stomach area and a bit itchy. Not noticing any change yet, but still early. Threw a couple pix in anyways just for fun. Going to hit the gym hard this week!! Back at it... Updated on 28 Apr 2017: Hard to believe it has been a month since my coolsculpting treatment on upper and lower abdomen! The only residual affects are a very slight numbing of the area still. I think I'm starting to see a flatter stomach region?? Or wishful thinking? From most of the other peoples' experience, (for those who it worked for) seemed to see results around the one-month mark. So I hope I fit in with that schedule!! Posted a couple more pix. Updated on 25 Aug 2017: Well, here I am almost five months after my treatment and I'm tending to think I should have gone straight to lipo. There was a small change in my stomach area, but for me, not enough for what I paid, and I'm not interested in going for one or two more treatments at $3k a shot. I had lower abdomen lipo done several years ago and loved the instant results. My love handles seem to be getting bigger as well. (Insert sad emoji). I have a consult for lipo in two weeks and I'll see what the good doc has to say...
The chance of a reaction is very rare but can occur. I have many patients with your issue and I have skin tested the product for 48 hours prior in a few patients in the past.
Thanks for your question. This is a question that we get asked often by our patients. In my professional experience, it is possible to consistently gain better symmetry and overall shape of lips with injection of hyaluronic acid lip fillers as it allows you to completely reverse the results if you do not like them. While these are temporary (lasting about 6 months) they are quick, simple and have minimal pain or down time. For the best results please consult a board certified dermatologist with experience with dermal filler and hyaluronic acid cosmetic injections.
Thanks for your question. This is a question that we get asked often by our patients. One option would be to switch to dysport but sometimes the result is the same. I also combine forehead and eyebrow filler with a botox treatment and this has helped to increased the longevity of the treatments.
When it comes to anti-aging treatments, combination of treatments is needed.Neurotoxins (Botox®, Xeomin®), dermal fillers (Restylane®, Juvederm®, Esthelis®, Belotero®, Emervel®, Radiesse®), skin resurfacing procedures (laser resurfacing with CO2 laser, Er:YAG laser, Fraxel DUAL®) and other devices such as Ultherapy® can be used. My top 3 would be Botox, liquid face lift with juvederm and CO2 laser resurfacing. This can all be done for $5000-$6000K. These are advanced techniques so be sure to get an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon consultation for recommendations and treatment options.
Thanks for the question. I think you need to go with what is most comfortable to you as the patient. Most experienced injectors use both techniques with patients but less bruising occurs with cannulas. If it was me, I would prefer the best injector who has the most experience.
