Can I get a BBL with endometriosis?

Question

I have two large cyst on my uterus from my endometriosis.My OBGYN doesn’t want to remove it because I’m young I’m on birth control to shrink the cyst . Can u get a BBl with the cyst on my uterus. My OBGYN said I can because lipo does not interfere with internal organs . I need a second advise

Thank you for your question. Liposuction remove the subcutaneous Fat ( fat underneath the skin) and internal organs are not touch during this procedure. Yo can get a personal evaluation with a Board certified Plastic surgeon to speak about your concerns and he can make a personal assessment of your particular case. Hope this help!

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. BBL surgery can be safely done with your endometriosis diagnosis. You will need clearance from your Ob/Gyn and should be off any estrogen-like medication if it is safe to do so from your doctor’s standpoint.

I don't see any reason you cannot undergo a BBL with your diagnosis of endometriosis and cannot think of any contraindication for you to have the surgery.

Your gynecologist is correct. You may or may not be a good candidate for a BBL but having endometriosis does not prevent you from having cosmetic surgery.
