It really depends, and these are the predominate factors:1. Who is going to perform your surgery, who will administer the anesthesia and what type of anesthesia it is.2. What type of implant you’re going to receive - Usually, the only factor that may increase the cost of your implants is if they are cohesive gel or anatomical (tear-drop) shaped implants. This is a premium that is applied by the manufacturer, rather than the surgeon. Other features of the implants, namely their size and shell texture, do not influence the cost. So, for example, a 400cc implant won’t be more expensive than a 300cc implant of the same type.3. When you’re going to get the surgery done (some places may increase the cost for your procedure if you were quoted a while ago)4. Where the surgery is scheduled (at a hospital or private clinic)5. Why you’re going to have the surgery (is it your first time or will this be a another one to correct results from a previous surgery?)6. How is the surgery going to be performed (sub-mammary or sub-muscular, inframammary or periareolar, etc.)As a result, you’ll notice huge variations in price even for surgeons within a single city, a difference that may be marked by the thousands of dollars. Hello! Thank you for your question. In general, implant size does not correlate with bra cup size. The cup size itself will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer as well as who is doing the actual measurements. Thus, cup size is never a reliable indicator for your breast size. I typically encourage my patients not to communicate her desires in cup size but more on the actual look and appearance. Good communication between you and your surgeon of your expectations is warranted - choosing your surgeon wisely is the first step. Discussion of your wishes and having an honest and open dialog of your procedure is mandatory (e.g, implant type, incision, placement, lift, etc). I have found that photographs brought by the patient is helpful to get a visualization of the appearance you wish for in terms of size, shape, fullness, etc. In addition, your surgeon's pre and postoperative photographs should demonstrate a realistic goal for you. Once this has been accomplished, allow your surgeon to utilize his/her best medical judgment during the procedure to finesse the best possible result for you after preoperative biodimensional planning and fitting the right implant for your breast width. Price will vary on geographic location. Things to factor in are the surgeon fee, anesthesia fee, facility fee, coat of implants, other (surgical garment, addition of other procedures, etc). Hi and thanks for your question. Breast augmentation prices with silicone will vary greatly depending on the area of the United States that you have it done. I have been in private practice in the "land of breast implants" Miami, Florida for the past 29 years and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Breast augmentation in the Miami area has become extremely competitive and unfortunately we have many practitioners lacking years of experience performing countless procedures at very low prices. The Miami area has some excellent plastic surgeons but unfortunately the costs and fees have been driven down as a result of simple economics.....supply and demand. Less expensive does not mean a sacrifice in quality but you must be diligent about your search. Not all surgeons nor cosmetic surgery centers were created equal. The total cost for a breast augmentation utilizing silicone gel implants at our Institute is $4,600. This is inclusive of the surgeon's fee, facility, anesthesia and implant costs. However, areas such as South Florida with a large number of board certified plastic surgeons will have lower fees than areas with fewer surgeons or in a high priced area such as New York or London. Because of lower prices and maintained high quality, a large number of patients will travel to Florida for breast augmentation surgery. We are currently offering breast augmentation with gel breast implants for $3500 + MD Anesthesia related fees. There would be a small increase if a breast lift is involved. Ensure that you are choosing an experienced board certified plastic surgeon and that the practice will provide you the safety and individual attention that you deserve. If your goal is a natural look you want a plastic surgeon with expertise in making small breasts look natural with implants. The price of a breast augmentation is not related to the size of the breast implant. Factors that determine the price of breast augmentation surgery include the training and expertise of your plastic surgeon (not all training is created equal) It also depends on the facility, the equipment, the use of a board certified anesthesiologist vs a nurse to administer anesthesia. You are considering making a permanent change to your body and trusting a surgeon with your health and well being. Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider,  type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website.
In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.
Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.
Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Again, I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your question.  The cost of breast implants does not very with the size of the breast implant.  It does however very with the geographic areas in which you live and the skill reputation and experience of your board certified plastic surgeon.  Although the national average often quoted on Realself is $6300 in major Metropolitan areas it is often over $7000.  The most experienced board certified plastic surgeons can cost $7500-$8500 or even higher.
