The asymmetry that you’ve noticed most often resolves within about 3 to 4 months. However, it can take as long as 6 months to completely resolve.   If the condition persists, I would recommend both following up with and making sure that future injections are performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon, or dermatologist. Botox typically lasts 3-4 months, so the effects should have worn off by now.  Since you have concerns that your dentist is not addressing you may want to visit another injector for a consultation.
