Are there any doctors who have performed Botox on patients with Tourettes?

In certain cases, Botox can be a highly effective remedy for quieting down grimacing and spasticity in patients who have Tourettes Syndrome, and can also alleviate other spastic conditions, including Bell’s palsy. I have multiple patients with these conditions that respond really well (see our website). You could ask your neurologist for some recommendations for dermatologists who perform this procedure (if he or she doesn’t already do it), or simply do the research yourself to find an expert. Please only work with a board-certified dermatologist who has successfully treated Tourettes with Botox in the past.

Botox can be done for Tourette's and for other spastic conditions. Im not sure if you have tried it in the past but it can really help with the condition. 

The unconscious tics and grimaces seen with Tourettes syndrome can sometimes be controlled with Botox. Botox works by relaxing muscles so that they don’t contract. If you have an expression or movement you typically make during an attack, a neurologist or  board-certified dermatologist could inject those muscles to keep them quiet. Please research your injector carefully, because this is an advanced use of Botox.
