Question

I had a deep plane face and neck lift 8 months ago. I like how my face came out but I'm not happy with my neck. It looks good straight on but when I bend my head down I fell like there is still to much skin. Can I do a revision?

I would recommend a revision to permit redraping of the neck skin, tightening of the neck muscle (platysma) and sculpting the fat.

Thank you for your photographs. From your front view, your neck looks excellent. Everyone has what appears to be excess skin when they bend their chin down towards their chest, as this is just the skin needed when you extend your chin upward.  You may find that a surgical option to try and give you a result you may be more pleased with does not benefit you much. To achieve a slight improvement, you may try some of the energy-based systems to tighten the skin slightly. These are non-invasive and may improve things for you. Best wishes.

It is normal to have folds and wrinkles when you bend the neck; you can see it in babies; aged and sun burned skin has lost elasticity and that is what you are seeing now. Additional treatment to address that problem with Renuvion may be considered. Hope this helps.

You have a good result with your neck.  The aging process and excessive sun damage dimensions the skin tone. This will result in the neck relaxing sooner then is desired.
