Ok to drink bone broth protein before mommy makeover surgery? (photo)

I’ve heard doctors say to stop vitamins and herbals 2 weeks prior to surgery. Was curious if bone broth protein was ok before mommy makeover surgery. Also, would it be ok after mommy makeover surgery?

It should be fine for you to have bone broth protein before and after surgery, but it is always best to check with your surgeon as opinions vary.  Your surgeon needs to be aware of all prescriptions, over the counter medications and supplements that you take.  Good luck with your upcoming surgery!

Each plastic surgeon has their own list of do’s and don’ts in preparation for surgery, so it’s important that you run this question by yours. That being said, I don’t anticipate there being an issue with you taking bone broth either before or after your mommy makeover surgery. discuss what medications, supplements, and vitamins you are taking, both
prescription and over the counter, with your plastic surgeon and have him or
her decide what you should and should not be taking. Your surgeon should be
certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). It is important to
follow all pre and post-operative instructions.
