Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Thank you for your question. Your safety is of utmost importance to us. We never want to do anything that might jeopardize our patient's health. Unfortunately, based on the measurements your BMI is 37.4, making you ineligible for cosmetic surgery at this time. High BMI poses high surgical risk and reduces the likelihood you will receive optimal cosmetic results. Best is to reach your goal weight with a BMI closer to 30 before considering cosmetic surgery. If you have been unable to reach your goal weight with diet and exercise we recommend you schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Bariatric Surgeon.
Healthy people at their ideal weight should have the best overall recovery from a TT, lipo, and a BBL, but some of this will depend upon the surgical technique and adherence to postoperative protocols. Losing 20 pounds or more would enhance your results and lessen the risks of complications during and after surgery. The TT and lipo/BBL can be combined without compromising the results of any. Creative liposuction will allow you to have stubborn fat resistant to exercise and diet removed from unwanted areas (abdomen, love handles, thighs, back) and transferred to the hips for a lifted and rounder appearance. If the waist was smaller at one time, the waist can likely be reduced to those same measurements or smaller provided the muscular and fascial integrity has remained the same. A TT with muscle tightening will create a flat abdomen, a more youthful bell button, and would also provide the benefit of placing your incision along the lower pubic region. Fifty percent of the TTs I perform are short scar, which takes about 50% of the scar away. You might want to schedule the arms lift with the TT.Schedule an email, Skype, or in-office consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is an expert in all three procedures, and has hundreds of before and after photos posted on his/her website along with favorable patient reviews.
Thank you for your question and photos. Based on your information, your BMI is 37. This puts you in the morbidly obese category! You should not have all those procedures that you desire done at the same time, unless you are aiming for poor results and lots of scars and potential major life threatening complications. I would work on getting your weight down to 180-190lbs prior to any surgery. Once at that weight:If you were my patient, I would do VASER Hi Def lipo 360 and fat grafts to the buttocks first. Second, I would do aggressive arm liposuction knowing that you will need an arm lift later on. This can be done under local with minimal oral sedation a few days after the body liposuction. If you try to do an arm lift on a fat arm, you will still end up with a fat arm and a very long scar. Third, I would do a tummy tuck, but it seems that you also have a lot of intraabdominal fat. Hopefully this will improve with the weight loss.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Do not believe some of the posts that tell you what you want to hear and give you unrealistic promises. Good luck.
Dear Awesome164867,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hi and welcome to our forum!Your candidacy for cosmetic surgery requires consideration of many factors. One is measurement of your BMI (body mass index equals weight in kg / square of height in meters). You can find BMI calculators on the internet. If your BMI is > 30, the cosmetic result will not be optimal. If your BMI is > 35, your operative risk will rise. YOUR BMI IS 37.44. It is not safe to proceed with cosmetic surgery at this time. Weight loss through diet and exercise is recommended. If not achievable, a bariatric procedure (such as a gastric sleeve) will result in significant weight loss.In-person evaluation by a plastic surgeon with recommendations to develop a satisfactory gameplan is suggested.Best wishes...
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Unfortunately, right now your BMI is 37 and it needs to be 33 or less, for you to be considered a good candidate for plastic surgery.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and the best options for you.Good luck :)
The best course of action for you would be dramatic weight loss. I suggest getting your way to around 160-180 pounds. After that consider having a full or extended tummy tuck. doing a tummy tuck at your current weight will cause limited results because of excess intra-abdominal fat leaving you with a bulging upper abdomen as well as higher risk for complications. Most plastic surgeons limit liposuction to 5 L during a single session of liposuction. This is approximately 8 to 10 pounds of fat. To put this in perspective it would make you go from 225 pounds to 217 pounds. Granted, the fat would be removed from the areas where it bothers you the most. Still, it’s not a big change and is pushing surgery beon safe limits. In regards toThe choice of areas to be treated I would also include Liposuction if you’re back. Not including your back believe you would share it with bulging back bra rolls. Typically they treat the torso as a single in atomic unit. Includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, back and armpits or under arm area.correctly done liposuction of your full torso and arms probably means removing close to 10 L of fat.of coarse less fat can be removed with a more limited result.add lower weight less fat can be removed getting the same impressive result. Well done arm liposuction gives great results and will complement liposuction of the torso.Check out some of my high volume arm liposuction results posted under my profile on real self. The appropriate approach would be weight loss followed by a full tummy tuck then consider liposuction with fat transfer as the third procedure. Some providers prefer to do liposuction and fat transfer before the tummy tuck. There are advantages and disadvantages of both. My preference is to do skin surgery before liposuction to avoid working with the scar tissue that forms from liposuction. If you move forward with this procedure at your current weight you will need to except that you are at risk for having significant complications and your results will be limited. Most plastic surgeons will probably tell you you need to lose weight first. There’s a reason you will hear this repeated.I suggest having several in person consultations with local port certified plastic surgeons in your area.there’s nothing wrong with getting well informed of the procedure well in advance.sometimes this can serve as a motivation strategy and set things clear in regards to where you should be.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD.
A healthy BMI is between 15-24. That being said, from the pictures you appear to be a good candidate for 360 lipo, BBL, and ultra high definition tummy tuck. High definition VASER liposuction of the arms is also possible. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing.Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
