Is it safe to have Botox while on immunosuppressive medications?

I am on Stelara, Methotrexate and 5mg of prednisone daily for Crohns and Rheumatoid. Before diagnosis I used to get Botox injections for an eye twitch..was the only thing that worked. Is it safe for me to get them again?

Yes, it is safe for you to get them again. No significant interactions are known or found for above mentioned drugs.

Botox injections are localized, and different from other injectable medications that are systemic (go into your entire body). In small amounts, Botox injections are safe and effective for relaxing muscles.

There is no safety issue related to localized cosmetic or ocular Botox and the use of biologics or immunosuppressive medications like methotrexate, azathioprine, mycophenolate mofetil, etc.
