There are several muscles involved in your smile, namely levator labii superioris alaeque nasi, levator anguli oris, levator labii superioris, risorius, zygomaticus major and zygomaticus minor. They are in nearby areas. Depending on the assessment, your doctor might have targeted specific muscles and injected into points different to the Yonsei point. Sometimes it is just a question of trial and error with the location of the injection and the injection amount to get the desired effect.

Botox injection will take time to show it effect. Basically after few days it will show it effect and show it maximum effect around 10-14 days. Basically, botox works by weakening the muscle. So its should be injection on side where muscle is going high.
