I've got a thin face and I've noticed more pronounced nasolabial folds as I approach 40. They don't bother me much but I'd like to explore facial fillers to delay the increased folds. I do have consultations scheduled with plastic surgeons but would also like the opinions of doctors here on RealSelf, regarding best options and the approximate amount/syringes it looks like I'd need. What would you recommend, based on my photos?

The answer is no, in any state in the US. Boards of Cosmetology do not include dermal filler injection as within the scope of practice of an aesthetician. A medical degree is required to inject, such as MD, RN, NP, DO or DMD. It would not matter whether there was a 'supervising physician' or...
