I have had many patients lose up to 30 pounds after tummy tuck without affecting the results. More than tI am not so sure. Losing 20 pounds should not affect the result significantly.

If you do it slow maybe you will get just a little be of saggy skin but if you do it fast you probably will get a lot of sagging skin and will need a revision of tummy tuck. By losing 20lb after a tummy tuck, the most probable is that you will look better, if you lose weight the fat in the inside of the abdominal cavity, that means you will have a smaller waist. Also it is important to consider the quality of your skin, if the skin has a good tone, that will not be a problem, if your skin tone is very lose, you may have just a little amount of extra skin that may require a revision to remove that excess of skin, but this is not common.
Hello, the answer to your question depends on your preoperative weight (a 20lb weight loss is much more dramatic on a thin person than a full-figured person), your skin tone, the type of tummy tuck performed, etc. Your plastic surgeon will be the best judge of this.

Additional loss can come from fat removed with suction3. You won't be eating as much immediately after surgery, because you won't feel like it4. A tighten abdominal wall can lead to getting full faster and feeling less hungry.5. Patient's look better and feel better about getting outside and being active.
