Dear community, I have no problem with the typical asian flatness or tip of my nose. What does bother me is the wideness. I have considered an Alarplasty only. Is there anything that I should consider regarding this and would I be a good candidate? Thank you for reading!

The goal is to keep the base of the nose looking triangular. Sometimes, if the tip is not improved, bringing in the alae can make the nose look less triangular and more square. It is important to see an expert rhinoplasty surgeon for consultation that can do computer imaging at the same time so...
The nostril width and flare can make them look prominent and noticeable. The best solution is alarplasty. It is a quick procedure done under local anesthesia that addresses both issues. The recovery is quick.

Your nose has good profile and a well defined tip. However the nostrils are prominent and give a harsh look to the nose. You are a good candidate for alarplasty.
