Should I get a tip plasty with alar plasty? (photo)

I am confident in my decision to get an alarplasty, but I’m concerned about my nose’s proportions potentially looking off or unnatural, even to the point of resembling an alien. Would a tip plasty help create a more balanced and cohesive result? I’m aiming for a natural look that enhances my nose while still feeling like me.

The nostril width and flare can make them look prominent and noticeable. The best solution is alarplasty. It is a quick procedure done under local anesthesia that addresses both issues. The recovery is quick. Regards Dr. J

Not sure what you mean about the nose being "lower" but you could def get less width and flaring with an alarplasty. YOu just need to know that that is all it is going to impact. The tip being squishy and dipping is because you have weak/little cartilage in your nose; the only way to get that...

If your only concern is the flare of your nostrils at the base of your nose, depending on your examination, alarplasty may be considered for achieving a narrower nasal appearance with local anesthetic in an office setting with minimal inconvenience. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

The photo shows an appropriate sized tip. It is not too big. However the nostrils are prominent. An alarplasty alone is enough. Also, down the road if you still feel the tip is bulbous then a delayed Tip-plasty can be done. Regards Dr. J
