9 month post op, breast augmentation with sicilone HP 400 cc left, 475 cc right, under the muscle. 5’2, 120 lbs. Why does my left breast take on this irregular slope, and stick out like a bump from certain views? It makes my breast look like a triangle / cone, especially with soft nipples. Back story: had mild tuberous aplasia, BF transfer, infection which gave me an asymmetry, got implants. Considering to exchange them with much smaller ones. Should anything else be done? Thx

Answer: Breast asymmetry From the pictures and your description it’d appear you need a revision. The implant size seems to be quite asymmetric. You also have a waterfall deformity, which is when the breast tissue sits below the level of the implant. This may be due to the tuberous breast, or that the implants have not descended to the correct position, or both. I’d agreed that smaller implants would help. You also would need a release of the lower portion of your pocket, or even potentially a breast lift. Be sure to visit with your plastic surgeon for an in-person exam to get a better idea of your options. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Answer: BA results Dear Montreal21, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
