I was doing some research on a surgeon to address my nasal valve collapse and his approach when treating unilateral nasal valve collapse is to put alar battens in both sides, regardless of whether there is collapse on the opposing side, just to balance the visual appearance of the nose. Is this something that is common for this procedure? Is the cosmetic change significant enough to justify balancing the nose? Thanks in advance, I very much appreciate your shared knowledge.
