I’ve been considering a tummy tuck for over a decade now after gaining and losing weight a few times as well as suffering from digestive issues and severe bloating years ago left my stomach skin completely stretched out. There’s was no amount of diet and exercise that was going to help me…I had done all I could. 5 years ago Dr. Rosenberg gave me the nose of my dreams so without hesitation I returned to him again for a consultation. We decided on a full tummy tuck, breast lift and I added a neck lift as I’ve seen some serious sagging over the last few years. He also corrected botched Lipo on my inner thighs from years ago and did some lipo on my lower and mid back. I’m 46 years old and wanted to feel amazing for the next half of my life. Dr. Rosenberg and Dr. Abraham Pathak did such impeccable and incredible work. My results have far exceeded my wildest expectations and the Dr’s as well as the whole office staff from Maria to each and every nurse in there is a pleasure to work with. They are responsive, caring, kind and extremely helpful. I’m 7 weeks out of surgery and am so thrilled with my results…I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenberg, Dr. Pathak and Palisade Plastic Surgery to anyone looking for quality, meticulous and incredible work in an incredibly professional manor. ***I keep trying to upload pictures and they keep failing. I will keep trying*** Updated on 30 Sep 2022: I’m not sure why but my before and after pictures keep being rejected. My scar is only 7 weeks old and very unnoticeable. Even the woman I went for a massage with commented on how incredible my work is and said she sees a lot but I definitely picked an amazing doctor. The confidence I have now is amazing and I’m still healing so I can only imagine how I’ll feel once I’m fully healed and have no more swelling. My breasts look incredible and I’m so happy Dr. Rosenberg suggested a breast lift as it’s made all the difference. He also lifted my mons pubis and i no longer have a dreaded FUPA. Complete life changer.
i lost 120 pounds due to a lap band surgery done at NYU. i had extra skin on my stomach and a huge port from the lap band surgery. i had a Tummy Tuck and Dr. Rosenberg consulted with NYU to order a smaller and compatible port. once again, so much compassion from the DR and staff. Dr Rosenberg gave me the body i always dreamed of. as this was my second surgery, my expectations were set high. needless to say, ive been a bikini fanatic since i healed. i love the symmetry and how thin and faint my scar is. i healed faster than expected, but as usual, Dr. Rosenberg makes personal calls throughout your surgery for extra support and after care. i am planning a second breast augmentation and i would not even consider another surgeon.
I first went to Palisade Plastic surgery as an overweight hormonally imbalanced teenager. I was told I would never have breasts. Well, me nor Dr. Rosenberg took no for an answer. He was an absolute delight as well as his staff through out the whole process from consultation to after care. I had my surgery in 2005 and they are beautiful still. I need an implant swap and internal muscle lift, and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else.
My experience with Dr. Rosenberg was excellent from the first consultation to all of the follow ups. He and his staff have all been very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. Me and my partner went to Dr. Rosenberg and as trans (MtF) patients we both felt very comfortable as well. Everything was well explained and understood both from a normal lens as well as that of a trans person which was very appreciated.
Dr. Rosenberg is a wonderful provider. His compassion, expertise and bedside manner are remarkable. His nurse, Kim, is extremely caring. I am so happy I chose Dr. Rosenberg to perform my abdominal surgery.
Dr. Paul Rosenberg is GREAT. He did a beautiful job on my lips. They looked beautiful and natural the bad part is this filler does not last long, literally is lasted about 2 weeks. He did explain that I needed 2 fillers. However, for someone attempting to get longer lasting results I was recommended by a friend to get Juvederm ultra plus. The got hers done and her lips look beautiful. The only bad part is you might get lumps but supposedly they eventually go away. So now I'm considering juvederm ultra plus.
Dr. Rosenberg you have changed my life in so many ways. I absolutely love my tummy tuck and never felt so good about myself. I worked out often but was never able to get my lower stomach tight. After the procedure, I can't believe how many compliments I received. You built up my self esteem and I finally feel comfortable wearing a biking. I never thought I would walk on a beach without a cover up. I also got some liposuction with the tummy tuck and the results are fantastic. I never imagined that my stomach would ever look like this. Dr. Rosenberg you are THE BEST and have the greatest staff. Maria Rodas I will never forgot you and how helpful you were. You made the whole procedure enjoyable and I am so grateful for that. Dr. Rosenberg is the best doctor ever. Thank you for giving me a tummy I only thought was possible in my 20's. I highly recommend anyone who dreams about having a stomach like a model...this is the only Doctor to go to.
I'm very happy I chose Dr.Rosenbery for my breast augmentation. He was very knowledgable and I felt comfortable with choosing him as my surgeon. I love my results and I receive so many compliments all the time. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I feel so confident with myself now. I highly recommend him to anyone!
A year ago a had lap band surgery. I've lost 50lbs. I wish I would of had the band years ago. Now I need to take care of this loosie goosie tummy! I will be having TT & lipo on flanks, inner & outer thighs. I went to my PS Dr. Paul Rosenberg about 5 years ago but he recommended I loose 40lbs, at that time I was 217lbs. Now I'm down to 170lbs & more than ready for this! I've always been a thick chic, but before kids never had a tummy, just big butt & thighs which I was happy with! But after 3 c-sections my tummy went south! No amount of exercise will get it down. I'm excited & anxious. I can't say I'm nervous, at least not yet! My PS comes very well recommended, as 3 close friends have had very successful procedures with him. And I feel really confident/comfortable when speaking to him. I know he will get it right! Will post pics when date comes closer, I'm just not ready for that! Hoping my journey will help others, just as I've benefited from reading reviews on RS! Updated on 24 Aug 2015: Updated on 24 Aug 2015: Updated on 16 Sep 2015: 5 more days until surgery, can't say I'm nervous, more anxious & excited! Hubby will be my caretaker afterwards. Had pre-op, got scripts for meds, met with nurse who will be with me through procedure. I'm taking my bromelain & arnica. I ordered my wedge pillow from walgreens.com & already received it. Now I just need to buy my comprehension garment. Dr. wants me to do a laxative this weekend & a liquid diet. Praying for Gods blessing through this procedure & recovery for all. Updated on 20 Sep 2015: I need to be at surgical center tomorrow @7am. Just got back home from getting my faja. Had a bit of a mission finding one up to the knees that I could try on, but mission accomplished!! I bought an M&D faja which is supposed to be one of the best Colombian fajas on the market, for comfort & compression. Very well recommended by a very close friend who had a tummy tuck. Sales girl took my measurements (38-31-44) & thought I could fit into a medium based on waist measurement but she forgot about my wide hips, lol. Needless to say I had to get a large, which is perfect. Hopefully I can get a good nights sleep...doubt it but we shall see! Praying for a great recovery for myself & all you girls on this journey! Updated on 22 Sep 2015: So yesterday was my procedure. I got there at 7am, the nurse took my vitals & reviewed post op instructions. Then anesthesiologist came in & asked some questions. And finally, Dr. Rosenberg came in & marked me up. Then at around 8:30 it was into operating room where anesthesiologist started IV & 5 mins later I was out. Woke up around 1:30pm then dosed off & it was 2:45. My husband came in, instructions were repeated again & off we went. Wasn't really in pain, just sore. I took my Vicodin at 7pm then at 11pm & slept until 4am, used the bathroom took another Vicodin & fell asleep again until 7am. Hubby was getting kids ready for school. Then helped me clean up. I went with hubby to drop kids off at school then we headed to doctors office for post op appt. Walking hunched over sucks. Thank goodness doctor said everything looked great but my right drain had come loose & had to be stitched back up. I could straighten up a bit. What a relief! Doctor said I could take a quick shower which I did. And it felt great! Overall this experience isn't that bad. Thanking the Lord all went well! Praying for all you ladies going through this journey. Updated on 28 Sep 2015: Had stitches taken out today but still have both drains in :( Nurse says my drain fluids should be clearer than they are. I need to stay a bit more put than I have been. That's my mission this week, to see if I can have these drains out by Friday or Monday! So far I've only had one terrible day, which was this past Saturday. Not cause of pain but just feeling out of it & nearly passed out....I think it was mostly dehydration. Ladies stay on top of drinking enough fluids! My menu has been yogurt, protein shake, chicken soup & fruits. Thank God for collace...finally had a BM on Thursday when I took 3 pills at once. Be blessed & happy healing! Will try to post pics later on today! Updated on 28 Sep 2015: Updated on 5 Oct 2015: So today is 14 days post op. Worst part of recovery is that these darn drains are still in!! I'm supposed to return to work next week so I'm faithfully praying for these drains to be out by this weeks end!! Still very swollen, still wearing binder & spanx. I have been trying to keep movement to a minimum but that's not working. Unfortunately, hubby will be returning to work tomorrow which means I will have to get the kids up in the AM for school. Thank goodness my father in law can drive them to & from school as PS still doesn't want me to drive. Praying for all my realself sisters speedy recovery. Please pray for my drain issues to resolve soon. Thx. Updated on 13 Oct 2015: So it's been 3 weeks. And I got 1 drain removed....thank goodness!! But I still have 1 that's draining 50cc in 24 hrs. Apparently I've developed a hematoma & that's why I'm still draining. Doctor still wants me not to drive, so I can't return to work today like I planned to. Thank goodness I have plenty of sick time. So I'm still super swollen which is expected. But I'm loving my incision which is already barely noticeable. Can't wait to get this last drain out so that I can start my massages to work these knots out. Stay positive ladies & happy healing. Updated on 19 Oct 2015: Well today is 4 weeks...I saw my PS & drains are still in, hematoma still draining 27cc bloody fluid today. My incision & belly button look fabulous. Still swollen especially on right side due to hematoma. Feeling impatient with these darn drains but sticking it out (as if I have another option)...lol!!! Loving Lipo on thighs & there's still swelling. So I know I'm gonna be super satisfy when swelling goes down! Prayers for all real selfers. Updated on 21 Oct 2015: Still super swollen especially on my right side where hematoma is but loving the shape. Updated on 21 Oct 2015: Updated on 26 Oct 2015: Finally had the last drain removed. No pain at all....but I did take 2 Tylenol extra strength 1 hour before appt, so that might of helped. Dr. said he will work on my hematoma with ultrasound & massages....praying that will break that bad boy up. Need to keep abdominal binder on for next 3 days...no full shower till Thursday, then I can finally wear my faja. Need to go see him on Friday & hopefully can drive & go back to work on Monday. Feeling so wonderful the drain is out...would love to celebrate with a glass of champagne but I'll hold off on the alcohol ;)).
I was over the top satisfied with Dr. Rosenberg's nasal revision. I wasn't sure that it could be done but he did it and its beautiful. I had several other procedures done with Dr. Rosenberg as well and I am still a long term patient. Staff is the best and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. R!
The answer to your question depends upon the degree of collapse of your valve, whether it is just functionally impaired or if it is visually contracted also. A spreader graft can open the valve on the affected side and also restore contour on the contracted side and it can be done on one side only. A batten graft, on the other hand, is usually done on both sides for balance.I hope this helps. Good luck
If you are a nonsmoker and reasonably healthy, you should definitely be able to achieve not only smaller breasts with the reduction but tighter and perkier ones as well. Ask your surgeon about his level of comfort with performing a "central mound" pedicle reduction, which will allow you to have more fullness in the upper portion of your breasts while permitting the extra gland and fat from the lower and outer portion of your breast to be removed. I expect you will be very pleased with the outcome of your surgery. Good luck!
While opinions may vary, I believe that having an abdominoplasty one month following C-Section is unwise for a variety of reasons. I usually recommend waiting 6 months. There are hormonal shifts that might affect healing, there are issues concerning the care of your newborn during your first postoperative week or two which might adversely affect your result, and you are unlikely to be able to be at bed rest for the first 7-10 days if you have a newborn, even with domestic help or a family member assisting you. In addition, it is wise to return to your pre-preganancy weight if possible and to be able to return to the gym for a few months prior to an abdominoplasty to get the very best results. I hope this helps! And congratulations!!
Your scar looks fine and you appear to be healing very well. Just remember to protect against sun exposure and use either olive oil or Aquaphor daily to keep it from drying. You're going to look great! Good luck.
The process of closing a mastopexy (breast lift) wound consists of several layers or repair with fine sutures. While it is possible that a superficial skin suture opened up, the deep layer is most likely fine. If yo have no fluid coming out of the wound "hole", and no redness or pain, I think you should be fine. Of course, if any of these signs or symptoms occurs, you should contact your plastic surgeon right away. It looks like you are going to have an awesome result! Good luck.
