I have got an implant placed in missing molar tooth 47 in March. My dentist is telling me that the opposing upper tooth 17 has supra-erupted and needs RCT + crown. I cannot have two crowns done in the same year as it will exceed the maximum allowed coverage. Can I do the RCT + crown crown on tooth 17 now and then wait until January 2019 to get the implant supported crown on tooth 47? Is there any risk in waiting because that will be almost 9 months from time of placing the implant.
