I recently fell and broke my front tooth (freak accident!) I immediately, in panic and fear, called Dr. Glosman’s office and from the time Ani picked up my call she made me feel so much better! She calmed me down and got me in within the hour! (Other offices were telling me I had to come in the next week). They took every COVID precaution - sending me paper work before hand, getting me in a room immediately and having everything extremely clean! Dr. Glosman is an ANGEL! He is so sweet, his bedside manner is impeccable and he makes you feel like family. He educated me as to what’s exactly broken, explain different options and outlined the best for me. I ultimately needed veneers and I a root canal (they were able to get me in with a colleague within 30-minutes to get one done!). Fernanda was extremely gentle in cleaning my teeth and extremely nice! Sarah and Erika were also so helpful and welcoming! I mean - the staff really makes you feel at home and comfortable. My teeth look soooooooooo good, so much better than before!!! I am so thankful to Ani for being so amazing in making me feel better and getting me in, Dr. Glosman for being an impeccable dentist and making my smile gorgeous and his whole staff.
The best dentist I have ever visited. I needed an implant for a missing front tooth and I wanted it done right the first time. I was referred to Dr. Glosman and I was impressed by his knowledge and experience.
Hello, Since braces and jaw surgery is not an option for you, I would recommend a combination of veneers and crowns. Depending on the area of the mouth and the situation of each tooth, i would then plan the proper restoration whether it be a crown or a veneer to achieve the best possible outcome for your smile. Sometimes to be able to fix a cross bite a dentist would need to put a crown on a tooth instead of a veneer. You should interview a dentist you like and take a look at his/her work and have an in depth conversation about being able to correct the smile and cross bite, taking into consideration the overall bite, which is very important to keep in mind. Best of Luck, Dr. Glosman
Hello, If the lab is making temps for you based on the wax up that was previously done, then the temporaries should be ready on the same day you prep your teeth. Therefore, technically there is no need to wait any longer than it would take the lab to make your permanent veneers which could be one to two weeks. You can do it the way your dentist is suggesting but it just takes longer. The way your dentist is suggesting is not incorrect. Every dentist has their own way and there own techniques that work best for them. Your teeth will be fine either way especially if there minimally preped. Best, Dr Glosman
Hello, I'm not sure how or why your dentist was ok with cementing that crown that is a different color, shape and size from your natural teeth. Anytime a crown is made it should blend with your other teeth, not stand out. I would recommend seeing another dentist who can correct the crown that was just placed on your tooth. Depending on where you live and the experience of the doctor and lab technician the cost of the crowns can range from $500-$2,000. Best of luck, Dr. Glosman
Hi there, There seems to be a leakage of saliva, and bacteria under the temporary crowns. This can cause staining under the temp crowns. The stain can be removed and I would recement the temp crowns with temp cement. I would get the permanent crowns placed as soon as you can. Best of Luck, Dr. Glosman
Hello, As far as the color of your crowns, in different light they can look different. With different cameras they look different dependent on the camera and the flash. The firs picture you sent , the crowns look a little gray, in the third picture they all look a little more yellow than the first picture. The goal is to have them blend in with the color of your natural teeth. As a cosmetic dentist , yes I can see a tinge of gray but it's not that bad and i'm sure it's not that noticeable to other people. Colors are very important to pick and it's the ability of the lab technician and the doctor to match the color of all the teeth. If you're not 100% happy I would recommend being in the same room as the technician and explaining what you want with him and the doctor. Best of Luck, Dr. Glosman
