I went it for a consultation, which was free with the RealSelf mention, Parking validated as well. I was in the market for tooth bonding, but I’m not a dentist so I wanted to have a consult to discuss my options. All staff were informative, professional, helpful and organized. He was HONEST said because my Chips were so tiny, bonding would not likely fall off. I ended up getting My teeth resurfaced per his recommendation: I was nervous about them shaving all my teeth away, but he was gentle, took his time to explained everything( really trusted him with my teeth) and the procedure was minimal. LOVE THE RESULTS. Little improvements really make a big difference in your confidence. Highly Recommend!
Dr. Maddahi not only transformed my smile, but has completely transformed my life. I had a full mouth reconstruction to correct my drastic overbite and crowded, dull teeth. I was always incredibly self conscious of my smile until I met Dr. Maddahi. He is kind, nurturing, and an absolute master of his craft. I haven’t been able to stop smiling since my permenant veneers have been placed on. On top of this, he has a top notch staff. I have to give a special shoutout to Jianine who was there for me over text or phone calls no matter the hour to answer any questions I had. Could not recommend Dr. Maddahi more! There is no one better.
Dr. Maddahi is such a professional Dentist and truly listens to you before starting any procedure. What I loved was that he was able to educate me about my sensitive teeth and ensured he took every precaution to avoid pain during. His Assistant was so kind, helpful and attentive when it came to the procedure as well. The office was really beautiful and welcoming, as well as the rooms, which is really comforting when going to the dentist for any procedure. Highly recommend him for your dental needs!
I was in a car accident over 20 years ago that led to damage to my front teeth. The dental work that I had done at that time was not asthetic and was aging. Dr Maddahi did life changing work to improve my smile. In addition, the work was done in a manner that minimized discomfort. Great experience all around. Nice office staff and the Dr is truely dedicated to his craft. A magician of cosmetic dentistry and an all around nice guy. I am so happy that I chose their office.
Dr. Maddahi is the friendliest and most caring dentist I’ve had ever! Every time I visit his office, Dr. Maddahi and his staff make sure that I feel comfortable and all my needs and worries are taken care of. I also love his brand of natural toothpastes and mouthwashes. I use them for myself and my children and it’s amazing.
Dr. Maddahi is the only dentist I will ever be able to go to again! I've always been really afraid of the dentist. Since I was little kid, it was just the thing that scared me the most. This is the first time I have ever been to the dentist, and even sat in the chair and gotten work done, without being scared to death! His office is really calming, and he is a true master. He's fast, and I hardly noticed he was doing anything. I honestly can't believe I'm recommending a dentist, but this guy is a real life wizard.
Dr. Maddahi fit me in immediately as i was worried about a sore gum area that had become enlarged. So grateful for his expertise and knowledge as it turned out it was caused by an over stressed bite so everything was ok.
The heading says it all really but let me give you some background. I live in Hong Kong and having previously lived in London and New York have been fortunate to have had some good experiences with very good dentists. I have previously had teeth whitening and have been fortunate that I had always been told that I had a nice smile. I had been contemplating a hair transplant for a couple of years and spent a huge amount of time doing research on hair transplants to find the right procedure for me and most importantly for me a surgeon who was a leading expert in the field of hair transplants. Eventually, made a decision to go with Dr. Wolfeld at Bernstein Medical in New York and paid my deposit to have an FUE procedure on 8th & 9th August. As I started to plan my trip from Hong Kong to New York for my hair transplant I continued to surf various reviews of various procedures on Realself and stumbled across a review from one of Dr. Maddahi’s patients who had a complete smile makeover. Incredibly impressed by these results I went to his website to check out more of his work and was equally impressed at the total transformations there. I remembered watching old TV shows like “Extreme Makeover” and how the smile was almost always the biggest part of the transformation. I then checked out lots of other reviews of Dr. Maddahi’s work and everyone seemed to agree that he is an amazing dentist, certainly one of, if not the best cosmetic dentist in the world. I also checked out lots of other top cosmetic dentists on Realself (particularly those in NYC as that was where I was already booked to have the hair transplant). Having done extensive research, I decided that Dr. Maddahi seemed to be the best and that I would see what he would recommend (at this point thinking that given my NY trip, this might be something for next year). I fired off an email to see if there was a possibility of fitting this into my schedule. By the next morning (Hong Kong time) I had received a reply from Jianine (simply outstanding Executive Assistant to Dr. Maddahi who handles all of their out of town patients). She confirmed that at this point we could make the dates work and requested pictures of my normal smile and an exaggerated smile so that Dr. Maddahi could see both my top and bottom teeth. I sent the pictures and again received a reply by the time I woke in the morning in Hong Kong which said “Dr. Maddahi was able to look at your photos and can definitely help you and significantly change your smile. The first thing he would need you to do is get a dental cleaning prior to coming to see us as it would delay his work if you needed one while here with us. He would do 10 top teeth and 10 bottom teeth, veneers and crowns. Each crown and veneer is made by hand by our Master Technician (he is considered a 'Master' because he's made in excess of 30,000 veneers and crowns) who spends around 4-6 hours on each tooth. He and Dr. Maddahi have come up with custom shades of porcelain to achieve the best possible look for you. The visits would be: 1st Visit - Prep 20 teeth and place temporaries (5 hours) Next day - Bite Adjustment (30min-1hr) 7-10 days later Visit - Remove temporaries and place permanent veneers and crowns (4 hours) Next Day - Bite Adjustment (30min-1hr) There may or may not be other bite adjustments required although this is not necessarily true but I do like to mention it just in case……..” I then started to “fine tune” my schedule and with Jianine’s assistance with all of the travel arrangements (including booking all my hotels and cars for me) was able to come up with a schedule of flying into LA on from Hong Kong on 6th, preparation on 7th (I didn’t have time for the bite adjustment on the 8th as I had to fly to New York immediately after the temporaries were fitted (but I didn’t need any bite adjustment for the temporaries) and then back to LA the following week for the permanent veneers. The whole experience was incredible. Dr.Maddahi is a fabulous dentist. He inspires confidence, has incredible attention to detail, is patient and thorough. Even though my schedule was tight, at no time did I feel that any part of the procedure was rushed. He was thorough in explaining everything to me and in advising me on what custom shade of porcelain he thought would look best for me. Of course, having selected him on his outstanding experience and reputation I followed his advice on this. I followed the instructions with the temporaries and had no problems whatsoever. Although I spent a total of around 11 hours in the chair I had no pain whatsoever. At this point, I also want to mention Anthony and Katia who worked with Dr. Maddahi during my treatments and were also fantastic. As I mentioned, Jianine was outstanding in making the whole schedule work seamlessly. I am absolutely delighted with the result. If you are considering a smile makeover, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Maddahi highly enough. Even if you are an out of town patient it is certainly worth the investment to go with an expert. Although combined with the trip to NYC for the hair transplant I spent around 42 hours flying round-trip it was definitely worth it to go with the best!
Besides having a beautiful office, the staff is extremely warm and gracious. Dr. Maddahi's approach to your smile is like nothing I've experienced! He pointed out details of my snile I never noticed before. I know look forward to my cleanings in the office every few months!
I met with Dr. Maddahi and his staff recently, and I must tell you that I have never been to a doctor's office that made me feel so comfortable. It was like a breath of fresh air. Dr. Maddahi, spent time detailing my procedure and made me feel very confident and happy. I even said, "when can we start". I highly recommend seeing Dr. Maddahi. Linda K./ Los Angeles
Hi:From the photo it seems that the upper arch is not fully grown out as much as the lower arch. By taking the upper premolars out the arch will be narrower. Just taking out the lower premolars and closing the space may help more with the overall smile.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Hi:Your front teeth look a bit worn down that is contributing to shorter wider looking teeth. The arch is also small which contributes to a narrower smile as well. The best solution is to get porcelain veneers on the upper 10 teeth to widen and lengthen your smile.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Hi:Any crown can be replaced with another crown including a gold crown. Just keep in mind that a gold crown can conduct hot and cold faster to the nerve of the tooth.Best.Dr. Maddahi
Hi:Gold crown can definitely be adjusted and polished back after it has been cemented. The main concern would be not to make a hole in the gold crown depending on the thickness.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Hi:There is a possibility of being able to remove the post. It might be best to go to a root canal specialist to get the post taken out. If successful then make another post and a new crown.Best,Dr. Maddahi
