Dysport results take 1-2 weeks and will last 3-4 months in new areas of treatment. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Patients can expect to see their full Dysport results in 7-10 days. I always recommend that patients wait the full 10 days before determining the full effect of the injection. I also recommend speaking with the doctor who injected you with any questions and concerns you might have. All the best,
Hi Dianne.I would not stress out about the slow onset. The maximum effect is seen at 14 days since the day of injection. You should be sure to follow up with your injector and review how many units were used. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Thank you for your photo. Typically, it can take up to 14 days to see the results from Dysport. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
Thank you for the question and pictures. Please do not over-analyze your "effect" until enough time has passed since the injection. You can still have effects seen up to the 2 week point and scrutinizing your results too much before then can get you in trouble (getting more and more injections that will also kick in in 2 weeks). Good luck!
In general, one unit of botox is used for every 2.5 units of Dysport, so you have to make sure what your provider meant by 35 units. If it was literally 35 units of Dysport, that's a rather low dose for those areas. If they spoke in "botox-equivalent" units (which more people understand better), that'd be more realistic, but you'd still have to wait 10-14 days before a touch up, although anecdotally, Dysport often kicks in sooner than botox.
Thank you for your question and photo. While Dysport, typically, will start working sooner than Botox, like in 2-3 days, it does take up to 14 days for Dysport to peak and be at its strongest. However, 35 units is an appropriate dose of Botox for the glabella and forehead, but not Dysport. You may need to have more to get an appropriate response. Typically Dysport is 2.5 -3 times more units than Botox to achieve desired results.
It's best to wait 2 weeks to see the full effects of Dysport. If you still have a lot of movement, you can schedule another appointment and may need some more. It just means your muscles are stronger.
Dysport results are typically seen 7 to 14 days post injections. Some patients dont see any difference at all until the 14th day! Be patient your results will come. If you are not satisfied with your results after 14 days you may require more product. Best to follow up with your injector after 2 weeks. Best of luck
35 units of Dysport for both, Glabella and Forhead is a very little amount. I suspect you will need more to relax these areas. Typically, Dysport takes a up to 2 weeks (7-10days is the average) to see full results. Hope this helps.
Three 3 units of dysport is proportional to 1 unit of botox. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
Sam, A Drooping eyelid after Botox, Dysport or Xeomin is not an uncommon occurrence. The literature reports this occurs 3-5% of the time and is caused by the neuromodulator, Dysport in this case. Two possible causes of the droop are when the frontalis muscles, which raise...
