Amazing work! The Best bedside manner, consistent follow-up, and creates a realistic image before the surgery so there's no false pretenses. He is honest and evaluate each patient before agreeing to surgery to make sure the patient is making the right decision for what is best for them mentally and physically. I'm one Year post op and I absolutely love the results. I interviewed a other doctors in the Tampa area and this is the only one I would ever recommend.
I have always wanted big boobs. After having children and breastfeeding I had deflated breasts to say the least. I was very self conscious about the lack of and always dreamed of having the surgery. My sister in law who is gorgeous and has modeled, had hers done now over ten years ago. Hers look amazing still. Not only have I seen here results but she knew of at least ten other girls before her who went to my PS and had amazing results as well. I knew I was going to go with him. So much so that I met him on a Tuesday and had my surgery that Friday!!! I had my procedures done almost 12 years ago with Dr. Bart Radamaker. I paid $15K cash and was guaranteed that any tweaks that needed to be made after surgery would be taken care of. I had a mini-tummy tuck and thigh lipo for a fat transfer to my breast with stem cells. The surgery was 75% successful in that Dr. Radamaker accomplished certain goals with the surgery that I could not achieve with diet and exercise alone, but he also created new issues. What I loved about the surgery is that he reattached the muscle wall were my rib cage is (originally detached due to pregnancies) and it remained taught over the years. I also workout which helps maintain the results. The fat transfer with stem cells to my breast was the best decision to refill the fat lost during pregnancies. If I gain a couple of pounds, my breasts fill up and they don't deflate once I shed the weight, like after holidays. Definitely a huge plus. Now for what I hate and have to go to another surgeon to get corrected. Soon after my surgery I noticed that the lower pooch, which I was having the tummy tuck for, was still protruding significantly. When I discussed it with the doctor he said it was due to swelling and that once the drains were removed the area would flatten. It's been nearly 12 years and it's never happened. On several occasions I tried to have him correct it, per his guarantee, but was always ignored. After healing I realized that my once full thighs were slimmer, but now the skin on my inner thighs is saggy, like I aged much faster in that area then the rest of my body. I tried again a few years later to locate a website for him so I could write a review about my experience and let others know, but he just disappeared. He reappeared again in Orlando a few years later when I was doing a search for plastic surgeons in FL for a tummy tuck revision and thigh lift, since I now need one of those as well. Not sure where he is now, but if you are considering him, please do your research before deciding to go with Dr. Radamaker for anything other than breast augmentation. Best of luck!
In general, one unit of botox is used for every 2.5 units of Dysport, so you have to make sure what your provider meant by 35 units. If it was literally 35 units of Dysport, that's a rather low dose for those areas. If they spoke in "botox-equivalent" units (which more people understand better), that'd be more realistic, but you'd still have to wait 10-14 days before a touch up, although anecdotally, Dysport often kicks in sooner than botox.
It is unethical to test cosmetic treatments on pregnant women so we'd prefer to be safe than sorry and say no, it's not been shown to be safe.
It may surprise a lot of people to know, but almost every type of provider (MD/DO/PA/NP), regardless of specialty, gets most of their training on Botox and dermal fillers AFTER all their formal training. For example, as plastic surgeons, we spend a lot of time learning and practicing the intricacies of delicate surgery; for dermatologists, they are learning to identify the many subtle differences of what may look like just a brown spot to a lay person. While we do all get at least some training on Botox and fillers, I have known many senior residents that weren't completely confident doing these procedures on their own upon graduation. And while many here strongly advocate for board-certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists performing these procedures, I can tell you, as a board-certified plastic surgeon, that I wasn't ever scrutinized or asked about my botox techniques as much as I was my surgical skill set. So, the answer is that you want to go to a highly trained, experienced provider of any type that has good reviews and has performed many procedures. I have worked with a PA who, by himself and only doing injectables, achieved Diamond status (top 3% in the country) with Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox and Juvederm. That meant he injects more, by himself, than 97% of any practice that offers those services in the entire country. And he has 4.9+/5 stars on every review site he can be found on. So I can assure you, when given the choice to see him or me, for example, you most certainly should prefer me doing any of your surgical procedures, but you ought to very well prefer him to do your botox or fillers. Lastly, an artistic eye matters. While any contributor here may be able to learn the techniques - how to inject a filler, for example - not everyone will necessarily have an eye for it, nor may the provider's style always suit your desires. Ask to see before and after pictures and you'll quickly see if this is a provider you can trust. Hope that helps!
These fillers can (and often should) be combined in certain areas of the face. The have different properties that allow for a better unified result, in many cases. Sometimes my physician assistant colleague (the real expert injector at our practice) uses both at the same time, and sometimes he alternates between the two for optimal results. As in all cases, experience matters!
Volbella has been our go-to, far better than even Belotero, for tear troughs. An experienced physician or PA-C will be able to determine if this is right for you.
