That said, based on your photo it appears that adding volume properly and conservatively may achieve your desired goals without a facelift. This can be accomplished with autologous fat (your own) or injectable fillers such as Radiesse or hyaluronic acid such as RESTYLANE.

Base on picture of middle age face, we suggest full facelift to correct the aging lower face because of the present of jowl and under jaw skin laxity. Mini face lift can correct the jowl but is not good for under jaw area this is due to the limitation of mini facelift technique.

The one important piece of information that you left out is your age. You seem to look in your 40's at most. There are many, many options for facial rejuvenation in the younger age groups. Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon for an examination and discussion of the myriad of options that you have.
