Based on your photo, you are a good candidate for a mini facelift which does a great job of improving the jawline. Fat transfer in addition will work well to help fill out the hollowness of the cheeks. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.

A mini face lift can help. Another alternative for you to consider is a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This procedure takes about 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $3,000.

Thank you for your question and photo. An examination in person would be required to properly determine your best options. That said, based on your photo it appears that adding volume properly and conservatively may achieve your desired goals without a facelift. This can be accomplished with autologous fat (your own) or injectable fillers such as Radiesse or hyaluronic acid such as RESTYLANE.

Base on picture of middle age face, we suggest full facelift to correct the aging lower face because of the present of jowl and under jaw skin laxity. Mini face lift can correct the jowl but is not good for under jaw area this is due to the limitation of mini facelift technique.

The one important piece of information that you left out is your age.  You seem to look in your 40's at most.  There are many, many options for facial rejuvenation in the younger age groups.  Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon for an examination and discussion of the myriad of options that you have.  Mini face lift does not look to be the answer.  Good luck!
