I am so happy i endured a 23-hour flight to come to Bangkok and the Kamol Hospital. The entire experience was world class, and I am so happy with the results of my gender affirming surgery. I can say the aftercare, the K Garden was an unexpected pleasure. I highly recommend the Kamol Hospital and Dr Kamol, but don't expect a long conversation with him!

Good: no scar bumps getting soft good size for me Bad: wanted motiva but got eurosilicon instead even when I started messaging the hospital half a year in advanced. eh?: Kamol himself doesn't speak much English, lacks bed side manners as he's "too experienced" for more details I have made a video about my post op experiences up to the 3 months recovery mark. https://youtu.be/7-0k_Jnq2Ts
The doctor, staff, hospital, and medical hotel were all amazing! :) Dr Kamol is a likable curmudgeon, very experienced, and seems to take pride in his work. He is, in fact, so honest that he talked me out of a procedure that I had already paid for! ;) The hospital and medical hotel were immaculate and beautiful, and certainly the OR is a world-class medical facility. My patient care coordinator, Nissa, was absolutely wonderful, ushering me through the whole process. :) <3 She was a calm, helpful presence, and my advocate as needed. The hotel staff were really great; helpful, attentive, and so kind and sweet! :) <3 The main upsetting issue was that I lost over $900 vis-à-vis the exchange rate, because the financial director delayed my refund for three months, after I canceled a procedure that I had already paid for. Also, due to a communication issue, they did not give me a strong enough painkiller after, because I have minor issues with opioids and opiates, which can be mitigated with the use of an additional medicine, but this is actually a testament to their medical care and caution, that they felt it safer to treat me with a known medication than to risk side effects of the other. Overall though, it was a really good experience, and I would highly recommend Dr Kamol, his hospital, staff, and medical hotel! :)

Beautiful hospital, very clean and friendly staff that will make you fill home. Before the surgery I got full health check and that has given me a good feeling. On the day off surgery I was nervous but Nati helped me to become calm. The after care is really good.
I am really impressed with Dr. Kamol and the Kamol Hospital team. They made the entire experience so pleasant even thought I went through a very invasive procedure. From the first email contact, till my last day at the hotel I was looked after. Also, meet other people going through similar procedures at hotel really helped my speedy recovery. In short: I had the best results from my procedure, an out of this world aftercare with the nurses and I made many friends that I will remember and keep forever. I recommend the Kamol Hospital to anyone that is looking to become their realself with the best result and overall pleasant experience.
I had such an amazing experience with Dr Kamol, well worth everything I went though. I had the surgery on the 15th of August 2019 using the technique of scrotal skin graft with groin skin graft and I am currently 3 weeks post opp and I am loving the results so far. The hospital and hotel staff were amazing, they take care of you so well. You feel like family with them, make so many friends and feel like they really care about you and your recovery. I would go through the whole experience again just to be around such wonderful staff, so caring. I would highly recommend the hospital and hotel to anyone considering the surgery, you feel really at home with everyone and I meet so many amazing people just being there for my 4 weeks. So many friendships I made which is amazing

your concerns are completely valid and understandable. What you described after your C-section (infection, hematoma, and delayed healing) is within the range of known postoperative complications that can happen with any surgery, including a tummy tuck. These are typically related to factors such as blood flow, surgical trauma, or immune response. The risk of complications like wound infection, hematoma, or delayed healing in abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery is generally about 2–5%, and your chance of a better outcome depends on several personal factors, including: Your overall health Underlying conditions like diabetes, anemia, or immune issues Use of medications (e.g., steroids, NSAIDs) Smoking, alcohol, nutrition, and even emotional stress during healing Since your initial incision healed well and the complication came from deeper tissue, it’s very possible that with careful surgical planning and close monitoring, a revision surgery (tummy tuck) could help address the scar, tightness, and emotional discomfort you've been carrying—safely. A full assessment including medical history, physical examination, and lab work would help determine your healing potential and how to best manage any risks.
On a small frame like yours, a 300–330cc implant typically results in about a 2 cup size increase, which aligns well with your goal of reaching a C cup from an A cup. From my experience, 330cc with a moderate profile is a reasonable choice. It's important to note that implants can appear about 10% smaller once placed inside the body, so what may seem slightly big during a try-on may look more natural post-op. Ultimately, the difference between 300cc and 330cc is subtle, but if 350cc felt too big, 330cc should still give a full, natural result without being overwhelming.
I recommend umbilicoplasty, a minor surgical procedure that reshapes the navel by removing excess skin and securing the deeper tissues with internal sutures. This can reduce the diameter, improve the contour, and give a more natural, inward appearance.
Based on your description and BMI, it sounds like there is some skin laxity in the lower abdomen, which likely won’t be resolved with liposuction or scar revision alone.I recommend a mini tummy tuck (mini lipectomy) to remove the excess skin and flatten the lower abdomen. This procedure targets the area below the umbilicus with a shorter incision and recovery time compared to a full tummy tuck.
At 8 months post-tummy tuck and 4 months after scar revision, some residual swelling or fullness—especially in the upper abdomen and mons/groin area—can still be present, depending on the extent of your previous surgery. If your original tummy tuck did not include liposuction, it’s possible that the mons pubis and surrounding areas were not addressed, leading to the puffiness you're seeing now. I recommend VASER liposuction to gently contour these areas with precision and minimal trauma.
