Redness and hypertrophic scars behind my ears - is this normal? (Photo)

I am dealing with defined redness lines where surgical cuts were made around the ears and still trying to dissolve at lower ears where pixel ears were very evident after surgery . Also had to deal with hylertropic scars below ears and behind ears . Would this all be from my surgeon not taking his time ? Pictures at 7 months . I feel that i shouldnt be dealing with this , this far after the procedure . Am i correct or wrong ? I have no health problems and i followed a strict maintance program
