It’s been two weeks since my upper eyelid surgery and the Co2 laser under eyes. I’m happy with healing and results but have one unanticipated result. There’s a new wrinkle that didn’t exist before in the inner corner of my left eye. Could this be a result of swelling that is still present? Or is this due to stitching and will require a new surgery to eliminate it? Is there a different way to get rid of it? I’m afraid if I leave it as is, it will increase with age. And it bothers me! Thank you!

From board-certified doctors and trusted medical professionals
As noted below everyone is recommending an in person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your concerns and help make a plan for you. Best of luck.
The best long term approach would be surgical correction via a lower blepharoplasty. If you are wanting improvement without surgery you can use fillers. They work well when combined with other treatments such as lasers, microneedling, and PRP to address skin tone and texture.
I would recommend an in-person evaluation with a board certifed plastic or oculoplastic surgeon. In this way they can evaluate the eye as a whole as well as the upper and lower lid function/shape, etc. to advise of options to address your concerns.
