Canthoplasty alone is the wrong treatment to achieve what you want. The lower eyelids also need to be elevated (lower eyelid retraction surgery) to have long-lasting natural results.
It appears you have some degree of lower eyelid retraction. This condition can be improved w a canthoplasty procedure. You need to have an evaluation by an oculoplastic surgeon in your area. Good luck!
I would recommend an in-person evaluation with a board certifed plastic or oculoplastic surgeon. In this way they can evaluate the eye as a whole as well as the upper and lower lid function/shape, etc. to advise of options to address your concerns.
Thank you for submitting your photos and for your question. These photos alone are not enough to evaluate your lids. You need an unperson exam from a qualified surgeon (Oculoplastic surgeon or Plastic surgeon). there are many factors to be taken into account. The position of your canthus is only one. The projection of your eyes and position of your cheeks mean that you may have who we call a negative vector lid and in this case a canthoplasty would make this worse. this is best evaluated in person by a qualified surgeon. You should make an appointment for a consultation.
Thanks for writing,Based on your photos it appears you may have an ectropion. Recognize that photos are two dimensional and an in person, face to face evaluation which is three dimensional is the best way to determine what is going on. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can examine you and help you understand what is going on an how to help you, good luck Stephen M.
