Hi! Thank you for the question. It would be safe to have a microdermabrasion treatment two weeks after having a Hydrafacial. Hydrafacial is also a great alternative to microdermabrasion. Best of luck to you!
We offer a Diamond HydraFacial package which uses a diamond microdermabrasion tip to enhance your results. This is especially helpful for those with texture and acne scarring concerns. We also can combine HydraFacial with dermaplaning to shave away dead skin cells.
Thank you for your question. Because a HydraFacial is not an abrasive treatment, you are safe to undergo microdermabrasion after about two weeks. However, you may want to wait and see how you feel about the results of your HydraFacial before getting microdermabrasion. I recommend talking to your skincare specialist and board certified plastic surgeon to get their advice on the best way to proceed to get the optimal results for your individual goals and skin type. Good luck!
I would say 2 weeks is definitely the safe marker, but because a hydra facial is not performing deep abrasion and instead only mild extractions you may even be able to do sooner than 2 weeks.
Thank you for your question. A Hydrafacial MD can be performed 2 weeks after your Microdermabrasion treatment. This would help rehydrate your skin and add a youthful glow.
Great Question! Two weeks post Hydrafacial you can get microdermabrasion. But why go backwards when microdermabrasion is not cellular level? Microdermabrasion is best paired with a cellular level treatment, like a chemical peel same day. If you are doing Hydrafacial, the MD version, you are getting manual and chemical exfoliation together, so best to do the Hydrafacial every 2 weeks for a series, then go on maintenance. Forget the microdermabrasion.
Hydrafacials are a great alternative to microdermabrasion, because they rehydrate and resurface at the same time. If you want to do other resurfacing treatments, waiting 2wks is prudent.Choose an expert. Best. Dr Brecht Seattle, Wa
Sorry that you have this reaction from this treatment . However, I agree that this cannot and should not happen from this treatment because it is impossible. The hydra facial hand pieces cannot create this kind of depression and the chemical for the peels are mild and cannot and should not...
Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis. We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus...
There are multiple different HydraFacial options. With the signature or the basic HydraFacial, you have your cleansing step which includes the Activ 4 solution, the next step is the peel step which will include the glysal or peel, following this step will be the extraction step with the Beta HD...
We offer hydra facials and PRP Facials but don't do long term packages for this exact reason. Sometimes schedules don't work out and you, the client might change their mind about the procedures as well. I'd advise you call the office manager and inquire about the refund and then reach a...
There is a peel component to the HydraFacial treatment that may have caused this dryness. This peel component can actually be excluded. I recommend discussing your results with your provider and asking if the peel component was used. I hope this helps. Best wishes!
