What serums are included in a HydraFacial®?

I was browsing the HydraFacial® website and noticed there are serums for various skin issues. Which serums do you consider part of the base line HydraFacial® experience? Are they are included or do they come at an additional cost?

Hi There. Hydrafacial does have a variety of serums that can be added to the Hydrafacial treatment to customize each individual skincare needs. If you go for a signature Hydrafacial it should be a three step process. This includes your activ-4 which has lactic acid and glucosamine in it which is great for deep cleansing and exfoliating the skin. The second step should be the beta-hd which is great for oily/combination skin but it also has a vortex technology to do extractions. That has salicylic acid and a honey extract to help deep cleansing the pores, it is antibacterial and hydrate the skin. The third step is the antiox-6 which has hyaluronic acid to help with moisturizing the skin, allowing your skin to retain more moisturize and plumping the skin. Hydrafacial has other serums to be added like glycolic/salicylic peels, vitamin c, and peptide serums. Most practices do have a upcharge when you add on serums or even red light or blue light therapy. This is a great treatment and well worth the investment. Hope this helped and good luck!

There are multiple different HydraFacial options. With the signature or the basic HydraFacial, you have your cleansing step which includes the Activ 4 solution, the next step is the peel step which will include the glysal or peel, following this step will be the extraction step with the Beta HD extract solution, you will finish with the hydration using the Antiox solution. Depending on the spa they will typically offer boosters, and each spa will have different booster options that they offer. The best advice is to discuss with your provider which boosters they offer, and which one would be best for your skin concerns.

The first step includes cleansing and exfoliation to the skin, second step is painless extractions through the machine, and the third step is antiox which includes antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and plump the skin. Dear Mochaccinaa, Thank you for your inquiry. Hydrafacial is a four step treatment that uses a Vortex Fusion delivery system that will cleanse, exfoliate, extract and nourish your skin. The Vortex Fusion has a vacuum technology that will remove impurities from the skin while simultaneously delivering hydration to the skin. During the first two steps, skin will receive a deeper cleansing with lactic acid and glucosamine, followed by a light chemical peel blend of 7.5 % glycolic acid and 2.5% salicylic acid. In the third step, the Vortex extraction will remove all impurities from the skin with a gentle suction. Finally, the last step of the treatment will nourish the skin with a cocktail of serums that includes; antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid. In addition to that, depending on the skin condition and concerns, hydrafacial treatment is providing additional boosters that are addressing; hyperpigmentation, appearance fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone, texture and elasticity. There are several options when choosing your HydraFacial. treatment.  The Signature HydraFacial, takes 30 minutes and involves the basic steps of the treatment. Cleanse the face, followed by Active-4 to assist in deeper cleansing of the skin, a light chemical peel with a blend of salicylic acid and glycolic acid, BETA-HD solution used with a patented tip to give a deep cleaning of the pores. The final step in the Signature HydraFacial is Antiox-4 to increase hydration in the skin.
There are additional treatments that can be done to customize your HydraFacial experience.  Such as more aggressive tips on the hand piece and higher percentage of glycolic acid during the chemical peel process.  The boosters or serums that can be added to your treatment such as growth factors, brighteners, peptides, rosacea treatment; as well as, the addition of red or blue LED lights and lymphatic drainage for optimal results.
  
This is a wonderful treatment that is very customizable for each person's needs and a must for healthy skin.

In the baseline Signature HydraFacial, a cleansing step is done, followed by a light chemical peel and softening of oily glands, extractions and hydrations done with hydrostatic pressure and vaccuum, and lastly infusion of nutrients done and skin protective agents applied.  There are serums known as "Boosters" that can be added into the protocol that are used to address specific concerns, such as skin-brightening serums for sun brown spots (Brightenol and BrightAlive), age-related skin laxity and wrinkles serum (CTGF), and blood-vessel calming Rosacea serum (Rozatrol).  The attention to acne is done with higher strength chemical peels applied to and infused to the skin.  Some of these serums, all of which are quite effective, are only available through HydraFacials done at a physician's office...due to concerns over patient safety.
