In our practice we have had success in removing tattoos in clients that have struggled with immune issues. It would always be recommended to ask the Doctor who is treating you for the condition what their medical opinion is, and it could depend on the type of autoimmune disease. Tattoo removal works by breaking up the ink into smaller particles that can be more easily removed by your lymphatic system. We use Enlighten by Cutera, which can treat all colors of ink. With this laser we have been able to remove tattoos in as few as 2-3 treatments. Your lymphatic system will be working for a while (up to a few months) to remove debris from just one treatment. 

Hello from Metro Detroit! Thanks for your question. The Skin Saint, myself, and the laser techs here have had excellent results treating peri-orbital veins with the Yag (1064) laser setting on our Coolview laser.  Its the number one vascular laser in the world.  It is a fairly quick procedure with no downtime.  As long as your laser tech is well versed with proper settings for this area and cooling you should not have any issues with burns.  You may have some edema (swelling) post procedurally, although that is par for the course with this treatment.  Taking an antihistamine and avoiding blood thinners prior treatment will help with edema and the risk of bruising.

In our medical spa we generally go two weeks between varying treatments. It depends on the treatment and the type of laser or energy used. We also take into consideration your skin type. Layering different lasers in the same day isn't unusual, but again depends on the type of treatment being performed and your skin.  

In our medical spa we use a combination of micro needling with radio frequency for anti-aging and scar revision, as well as lasers. Secret RF is a micro needling device that delivers radio frequency under the surface of the skin and builds collagen to repair scars and damage. It is a no downtime treatment, generally you can return to work and social activities the next day. After a series of treatments, filler can then be used to help further smooth the texture of the skin. Skin that has been scarred from acne may never be 100% normal. However, you can have marked improvement through these types of treatments. 

Great Question! This is a popular question The Skin Saint and I get from younger patients.  There are a myriad of options for this concern ranging from no downtime to minimal.  

A series of dermatological eye peels specifically formulated for the eye area is a fantastic option to improve texture or fine lines, brighten the eye area, and prep the area for more dramatic treatments.  A series as little as four treatments will improve the look greatly.  To take results a step further, The Skin Saint and I have seen excellent results with skin resurfacing in the eye area such as Halo or Fractional CO2. PRFM will cut your healing time down drastically.  To maintain these results and improve the area with dynamic lines (when you're smiling), neuro-modulators such as Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin are great options!  Finally, if you have hollowing or a "tear trough" filler would be appropriate for this area.  Good Luck to you!
