Is it true that a tummy tuck somewhat tightens the vagina?

I was scrolling through RealSelf and someone mentioned that a tummy tuck not only tightens the tummy but the vagina also. It was said that as the tummy is being pulled the vagina is also. Is this true?

A tummy tuck tightens the abdominal vault when the rectus muscles are plicated and pulls up on the suprapubic area as well, tightening that region as well.  I have not heard of any tightening effect on the vagina however.

The Tummy Tuck will pull up the mons pubis. The Mons pubis is located above the clitoris you may feel some tightening of this area, but it does not tighten the vaginal muscles. I hope you find this information useful. For more information please watch the enclosed video.

No.....not possible, though there are other non invasive procedures to do the latter. There may be  some elevation of the mons pubis with a TT.

the short answer is No. I think what you have read is using the wrong term. The mons pubis (the hair bearing area) is a major area of looseness and a properly performed tummy tuck will correct this looseness and sag. It will not effect the vagina.

I am not aware of any way the tummy tuck would tighten the vaginal area.  The incision is placed low because it may pull the skin over the mons up slightly.
