Hello, I am a small framed woman who had former 300 cc saline implants removed 3 years ago. I did not do a breast lift after removal because they are were small. The problem is that little breast tissue I have left and slightly stretched skin had caused them to look awful. I am embarrassed to take off my top. I was wondering if a mini implanta was for me. I have a fear of them looking fake and unnatural like my original ones did. They made me very self conscious.
Answer: Breast Augmentation Why did you remove the 300 cc implants in the first place? You may be happy with a smaller less projecting implant. Another option is fat grafting for slightly more volume, although it may need to be repeated.

Answer: Implants From your photos and description you appear to be a good candidate for small implants. This would help to revolumize the breasts, yet give you a conservative, natural size. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Mini breast implants after breast implant removal 3 years ago? Hello Dear @Enya2000 I appreciate your question. If there was an implant removal procedure before the patient can contemplate the two options, taking into account the reasons for the implant removal. If the motives for the removal were related to health or clinical, having breast implants again is not an option. The other option is to consider enhancing volume and projection of the breast with a breast fat transfer. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS

Answer: Mini breast implants after breast implant removal 3 years ago? Thank you for your pictures and questions. The quick answer is YES! You are a great candidate for placement of a small implant for shape and volume. I would also suggest a small peri-areolar lift to tighten the skin around the nipple and make the nipple slightly smaller. This would give you an overall more perky appearance and I think would meet your goals while avoiding your fears. Make sure you are seeing a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is experienced with revision breast surgery. Good luck! Answer: Implant size Dear Enya2000, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
