Thank you for your question. Based on your photos you will achieve your body goal with a full tummy tuck combined with intense liposuction including abdomen, waist, laterals and upper and lower back to improve your body contour and get better curves, especially in your waist area.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
You can always have 360 liposuction which will contour your waist and reduce your belly +/- fat transfer to buttocks. Personally, I use Vaser ultrasound which gives skin tightening as well, however, you will likely have some loose skin leftover. If you don’t want a tummy tuck at the same time, you can always have one later if needed. An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to confirm this as well as discuss your options and expectations.
Thank you for your question! Based on your photos, I would recommend a tummy tuck with flank and back liposuction. However, if you are not ready for a tummy tuck, you can get liposuction alone. It is important that you know that liposuction alone will not remove excess skin, resulting in more loose skin post surgery. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon who can create a personalized plan for you. Best of luck!
Thanks for your question. Based on your photos you appear to have excess skin and fat on your abdomen area which is best addressed with a tummy tuck procedure along with a 360 liposuction to optimize youor overall shape. Liposuction alone will leave you with more excess skin on your abdomen which most likely will lead to undesired results. Tummy tuck, also know as abdominoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen and to restore the weakened abdominal wall, giving a firmer and smoother appearance. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Thanks for your question. You could get liposution alone but will have excess skin left on you abdomen. The best outcome will be from a tummy tuck procedure. Tummy tuck, also know as abdominoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen and to restore the weakened abdominal wall, giving a firmer and smoother appearance. We nearly always add liposuction to our tummy tucks to sculpt the body 360 degrees to achieve an ideal feminine figure. Tummy tuck is a very powerful technique in the right hands, and can have dramatic results if done correctly. Hello. Great question. Thank you for your pictures. Based on your images, you can have liposuction performed on you. However, you need to be aware that liposuction may cause more skin laxity and may not provide the best results. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.
You can get liposuction now and then a tummy tuck later, as long as you understand that lipo along will not get you the body contouring you need. A staged lipo and then tummy tuck procedure would be a good option for you.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photographs. You can have liposuction performed as an initial step towards a tummy tuck, just be aware that your physical appearance will worsen in the areas with already loose skin. Hope this helps.
HI Diligent, Yes you can get the lipo, although you will not look much better withal the skin that will be hanging down over the pubic area. It is best to save your money and do the right operation which is a combo of both operations.Best,Dr. Christine Rodgers
You can - if you don't mind having more loose skin.. Based on your photos - you appear to be a candidate for a full tummy tuck. That will help you achieve best results
Thank you for your question! It is ok to use arnica pre and post op. It helps with bruising and with post op pain. I recommend discussing specific post op medication or remedy questions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
Hello! Thank you for your question. (Keep in mind that an in-person consultation is necessary for the best advice.) Scar revisions are often performed 6-12 months after surgery. I hope this answers your question. Best of luck! Matthew A. DelMauro, M.D.
Options for this problem depend on overall abdominal skin laxity and patient preference. Removal/revision of the scar with downward traction on the skin below the belly button will smooth out the lower abdomen, but the scar will need to be longer than the existing C-section scar. If there is a ...
