Hi today I got 1 syringe of belotero to softer 2 superficial neck lines. It's been only 6 hrs but the lines now look like there's too much filler and they look very lumpy . Looks like I have 2 keloid looking raised scars and a bit of redness and bruising... is this normal and usually how long will it take to disappear? Thanks
Answer: Belotero Injections For Neck Lines Belotero can give a nice softening of the horizontal neck lines, however, injection in this area is tricky and requires skill. Lumps and raised areas are common after injection, but usually resolve with time. Though yours look a little more excessive it is still too early and I would give it some more time. If after 2 weeks it has not improved then you should have the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced injector. Best wishes.

Answer: Lumps after Belotero Hi missytikal,The neck is a tricky area that is prone to lumpiness, BUT in your case it is too soon to tell. It is normal to experience redness, bruising, and lumpiness (or a "cat scratch" appearance) for the first few days after filler. Belotero is a great product for the neck as it tends to smooth out nicely after the initial period. However, if after 1-2 weeks, it is still lumpy, I would return to your provider to consider dissolving some of the filler. Best of luck, I know it's hard to wait for the final result!

Answer: Too soon to judge It is really too soon to judge. It may take two weeks for the filler to fully resolve. I would recommend a bit of light massage to the area. Not too aggressive. The neck is a tricky area, but hopefully, this will settle in nicely. Best of luck.

Answer: Lumpiness and swelling after Belotero injection to neck lines Some swelling is expected after filler treatment. Neck lines require superficial placement of the filler and this can be a little tricky in the wrong hands. However, Belotero is a relatively soft HA filler. While you have a little more swelling then I would normally expect, I recommend you gently massage the areas and give the filler some time to settle in. If the lumpiness and swelling remain after 1-2 weeks, I would followup with your injector to discuss the results. Belotero is an HA filler and so it can be reversed using hyaluronidase if need be.

Answer: Beloteto injections thank you for your question. The skin in the neck is very thin, and great skill is required when injecting this area. Belotero is the best injectable for thin neck lines, considering it is least likely to form lumps when injected superficiality. How ever, 3 syringes of belotero seems way excessive for only the 2 lines in your neck! In my hands, one syringe would be more than enough. It is too early to judge, and you may have a lot of swelling but if this appearance does not resolve in a few days, you should ask your injector for hylaronidaze injections can to dissolve the excessive product. Best of luck!
