The swelling after your injection will last a couple weeks, then you should be able to see those results.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. It may take up to a week to see your swelling completely resolve while your augmentation results will mature over 2-4 weeks. You can speed healing by sleeping with your head elevated with an extra pillow or two behind your back, use cold compresses, and consider arnica montana/bromelain supplementation. Hope this helps.
Thank you for sharing your question about lip augmentation. On average, the final results after lip filler can be seen two weeks after initial injections. This is because there is a significant amount of swelling associated with lip fillers and Juvederm products tend to draw excess water to the treated areas. In my practice, I like to use to the microcannula technique when injecting fillers. This technique essentially eliminates the risk of bruising and minimizes swelling. At the two-week mark, I recommend my patients return to the office for evaluation to decide whether of not more filler needs to be added. For more information, please schedule a consultation with a board-certified expert who is experienced with the microcannula technique. Good luck!
It takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Juvederm for lip augmentation. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It takes about 1-2 weeks for the swelling to subside before you see the final result. Hope this helps! -Raja Mohan MD
Hello, thanks for sharing your question. Because some minor swelling and bruising are common side effects in the first several days after getting fillers, you won’t see your final results until these have resolved themselves. For some people, this takes a few days, although it may take up to two weeks before all of your swelling has diminished. At this point, you should be able to fully enjoy your new look.
Thankyou for your question regarding Juvederm lip injections. Swelling iscommon following lip augmentation and generally subsides withinone week, with full results visible at two weeks depending on theinjection technique used. Injections with a microcannula ormicroneedles generally afford a quicker recovery time as there isless trauma to the lips; hence, less bruising and swelling. It’s important to note that while you may be very aware of theswelling, after the first few days, it is usually not apparent toothers—and you can proceed with confidence. Good luck to you!
Hi Amy,Great question! The recovery time from Juvederm varies from person to person. Patients will be able to see visible results the same day as the treatment. Some people experience moderate to mild swelling and bruising for about one to two weeks, but you will be able to continue with your normal routine immediately after your office visit. The full results will show after the one to two weeks period when you feel all the swelling and bruising are gone. Hope this answers your question :) - Dr. Dale
Thank you for your inquiry. Typically, once the swelling and bruises subside. The average time is about 2 weeks. Good luck with your treatment.
Thank you for your question. You might experience extreme swelling and bruising in the first 72 hours. After 72 hours, the swelling decreases and the final result can be seen after 1-2 weeks. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
So sorry to hear that you’re having a bad experience after getting JUVÉDERM®. It is possible that at five days after injections, you could still be experiencing normal swelling. However, you should begin to notice an improvement in this side effect over the next few days. If you don’t see an im...
Unfortunately, bruising is a side affect of fillers, and your lips might take up to two weeks to heal. Try taking an aspirin, and applying neosporin or arnica to the area.
First, I would like to say thank you for sharing your experience and I’m sorry to hear that you are having difficulty after your procedure. It is highly unlikely that Juvederm fillers would migrate from the lips to the cheek. That being said, I think you should definitely schedule a fol...
