Tummy tuck on skinny person - am I a candidate or is there another non invasive surgery I can undergo? (Photo)

Hi, I am quite a petite person and am thinking about getting a tummy tuck. I want to be able to wear a bikini again but am scared I’m going to end up worst than where I started. I had multiple back to back pregnancies that stretched out my skin. I want the lose skin gone but don’t want to deal with the scar and my stomachs still looking crepey from the stretch marks. Am I a candidate for a tummy tuck or is there another non invasive surgery I can undergo?

Thank you for your question and photos! Depending upon the results you are looking for, there are different treatment options available. You can have an abdominoplasty, which will remove extra skin and repair any muscles that separated during pregnancy. Or, you can have Morpheus8 done which is micro needling with radio frequency. This will help improve your skin laxity; however, it will not be as extreme as an abdominoplasty. It is best to meet with a board verified plastic surgeon for in an in person consultation. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. Hi! A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) involves removing skin and tightening your muscles. In your case, an in person evaluation with a qualified plastic surgeon would be necessary to determine the amount of excess skin you have. A tummy tuck will certainly remove some of your stretch marks but some may remain. There are non-invasive options to tighten skin that have varying amounts of success but generally they do not get completely rid of stretch marks. I think an in-person consultation would really help clarify options for you.
