I was told my BMI max needs to be 32. My BMI was a 36 currently it's down to 34.8. I'll be at my ideal weight of 163 next month hopefully. I was 194 now I'm 174. Is it dangerous to have a BBL at your max BMI?
Answer: BBL BMI Thanks for your question. At my practice, the max BMI limit for a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is 35. In addition, you would need to be in good health and cleared for surgery. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take Care, Moises Salama MD, board certified plastic surgeon

Answer: Is it dangerous to have BBL at your maximum BMI? Hello and thank you for the question. The best advice you can get is after consultation with a plastic surgeon. Your weight and height will determine your body mass index (BMI). Ideally, you would like your BMI to be less than 30, however, this decision is individualized based on your overall health status and what procedure you are having among others. The closer you are to your ideal body weight, the better the results of the surgery and the less likelihood of perioperative complications. Answer: BBL candidate Dear alazaexdoll, Generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a BBL, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
