I'm getting a mastopexy with 450cc implants on Friday. Women are expressing a lot of discomfort with the implant AND mastopexy vs just the implants. I know everyone ranges in pain tolerance but do patients say it's really bad?

Answer: Mastopexy w/implant pain Dear Resourceful463669, paint level after breast lift shouldn't be high. Good preoperative and postoperative protocols and meticulous surgical technique can reduce pain level significantly. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Mastopexy with Implants Thanks for your question. The pain is tolerable with pain medication for the first few days. After that, you should be able to switch to OTC pain medicine without any problem. Most of the pain associated with the mastopexy is incisional pain, which subsides fairly quickly. The majority of the discomfort and pain stems from the breast augmentation. Best of luck!
