There are many variables that determine the size of one's breasts follow removal of a stated amount of breast tissue. Among these include the accuracy of your current bra measurement and the density of your breasts. When having a breast reduction, if a patient has a certain bra size in mind, surgeons can approximate this in most situations by controlling the amount of tissue removed during surgery.
Hello, thank you for your question. Please see the attached video that details your question specifically. The exact new size can vary based on factors like your age, body composition, and overall shape of your breasts. For the most accurate assessment, it is best to discuss this with your surgeon (either in person, or including variables such as age and weight in your post) as they can provide insights based on their experience and your specific situation. This would help visualize the changes more clearly.
Dear slimpretty1,it is hard to tell you what size you will be after implant removal. You will most likely have similar size as prior to surgery with some sagging. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
At size 40, each 300 grams removed corresponds to 1 cup size change. 717 grams removed would take you down 2 1/3 cup sizes to a D or DD. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
On average, 150 cc's equals a cup of breast tissue. With 717 cc's removed, you should drop about 4 cups in size, or be somewhere between a C and a D if you are actually an H cup by measurements. Not all bras are the same size and cup sizes vary greatly. Many large breasted women do not wear the proper size bra because they may be hard to find. You should be much happier with your breasts after surgery.
Unfortunately I can't estimate without a physical exam. There are multiple variations of the body that would affect that estimation.
Bra sizes are a helpful tool to give a general impression of breast size but are not exact. Every woman knows that a a certain size in one bra manufacturer may be very different from another. Removing 700cc implants will be a significant change. You will be reduced multiple cup sizes and will likely need a breast lift. I encourage you to speak with your surgeon about your goals for surgery and what you can expect in terms of results
Hello, thank you for your question. It is completely understandable to have concerns about the aesthetic outcomes of explant surgery. Please see the attached video that answers your question specifically in detail. Ultimately, while deformities can occur, they are not a certainty. Many women...
Most of the time, I recommend waiting for a year because it takes time for the surgical area to heal completely and the implants to settle fully.
Your breasts may retract nicely and you can be fine. If , however. You are not happy with your breasts after removal, than you can consider a breast lift. Either way, you will feel better and be more proportionate. Thank you.
