I'm 28yr 5'0 199lbs BMI of 39... I've been in this weight plateau for 5 yrs and it doesn't seem to change... with diet and exercise I have drop to 192 but that's my lowest... What is the difference between Extended Tummy Tuck and Full Tummy Tuck? My belly is very loose the skin is soft and stretching... What do you guys recommend? To loose 20 or 30 pounds? Or are there surgeons that do operate on patients that haved weight lost that the BMI is 39?
Answer: Tummy tuck + Lipo candidate, some advices: Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: Tummy tuk Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you will be a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction after some additional weight loss. This can be done through a low incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior. Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. A breast lift can be performed at the same time for improved shape and contour of your breasts. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Tummy Tuck/Abdominoplasty/Liposuction/High Definition Procedures/Tummy Tuck Revision I appreciate your question. For health and safety reasons, best to be at a BMI less than 30 or within 10 pounds of your goal weight and stable at that weight for 6 months prior to surgery for optimal results. Once you have reached a healthy weight, from your photos you appear to be a good candidate for a full Tummy Tuck with liposuction to your flanks and back. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Full tummy vs extended tummy tuck Thank you for providing photos. An extended tummy tuck is basically a tummy tuck with a longer scar into the side. I would say that you are a candidate for either one with liposuction to the flank and upper back area.Good luck.

Answer: Tummy Tuck - Am I A Candidate? Thank you for your question and photos. You appear to be an excellent candidate for an extended tummy tuck. The abdominal skin excision could give you an excellent contour as well as improve the tone of the anterior abdominal wall. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination to discuss the specific details of the procedures. Ask to see before and after photos to get an idea of what can be achieved. Hope this helps!
