Extremely sagging breasts at only 16?

Question

Back in middle school, my mom only bought me supportless training bras, when a bigger bust like mine obviously needed proper support. I ran in training bras that had no under wire.I am thinking that has to do with the horrible sagging. But, when I went into Highschool, I yoyo dieted.I gained 40 lbs in a matter of 3m. I have stretch marks everywhere. My nipples are originally set low. My breasts r bigger in size,if one were to feel them, they feel empty&have very soft but a lot of excess skin.

But please don't worry as surgery can definitely correct the excess skin and nipple position.You could either have a breast lift (mastopexy) or small breast reduction.  You will have scars on the visible surface of your breast but they will fade over time.

Depending on your goals, there are surgical options to help you attain an improved shape and contour.  You may be a candidate for a breast lift, that will help reposition your breast tissue and nipple into a more youthful position, or an implant and a lift if you are looking to add size.  See a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can make recommendations based on an in-person examination

Younger patients can definitely get ptosis of the breast. A mastopexy will correct the problem. Whether or not the aesthetic benefits are for you depends upon how you perceive the resulting required incisions.

period of the bust it can have an effect on the appearance of your bust and it
does sound as if you may have some slightly excess skin and a low nipple
position.

If
this is case it might be that an uplift, with or without an implant combined
would be appropriate for you.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of the problems you have been having. Sagging breasts ("ptosis") is where the position of the nipple falls below the position of the fold underneath the breast (the infra-mammary fold or "IMF"). You can check the position of the IMF on your self by placing the palm of your hand under the breast while you look in the mirror. Ideally, the nipple is at or slightly above the level of the fold.Breast surgery, whether a breast reduction to decrease the weight of the breast or breast lift ("Mastopexy") involves moving the nipple into its ideal position. Care is taken to preserve the nerve and blood supply to the nipple. This means that the surgery should not affect your ability to breast feed down the track. You will still be able to have mammograms when you are older.Make an appointment to see your friendly local plastic surgeon to discuss these issues further and assess whether you are a good candidate for surgery.I hope this helps

Sagging breast can happen with weight loss and also can just develop as such for some patients. 16 is a bit young to do a lift.

Ptosis is possible in someone of your age, but can be corrected through a mastopexy. This procedure does require incisions that will leave permanent scars.
