Breasts way too far apart! Is there any way to fix this problem?

My breasts are 5 (YES FIVE!) fingers apart. My bra size is 30A and have always wished they were larger and closer together. When I push my breasts to being 2 fingers apart (like I have read is average) it creates a "fold" between them where my skin bunches up. My nipples also point outwards and some of my breast is located almost IN my armpit. I have yet to find a single bra that has cups far enough apart to support my full breast. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Hello,Photos would be helpful for online consultants to determine what you are dealing with. Sometimes, constriction around the breast/tuberous breast features will contribute to this far-apart appearance. Breast implants can help widen and fill out the breast itself, but wide set breasts usually remain so after augmentation because the implants will need to be centered under your areolas. Remember, everyone's anatomy is unique and cosmetic surgery is about improvement- not perfection. I recommend that you meet in person with a Plastic Surgeon who's before and after photos appeal to you and find out what your options are to improve your look.All the best!

Breast implants cannot be properly placed beyond the natural medial border of the breast which is genetically determined. If the implants are soft a brl can push them together for desired cleavage.

Thank you for your question.  Not everyone is born with the "perfect" set of breasts.  Most women are not looking for perfection, but to just look "normal".  Whether it is because of development, injury, or changes after pregnancy or weight loss it just seems that it is not fair to not look normal.  There is hope however, and it is as close as your nearest Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. How your breasts are positioned on your chest can not be altered.  However, placement of implants will make them larger giving the appearance of more cleavage.  You should consult with an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns, goals and options.

Dear Anna: from your description it appeared the implants are higher and farther than desired. It the surgery was within three months, I recommend continues massaging and wait for the implants to get settled. If the surgery had been much longer, you may need capsulotomy to get the implants in better position. Discuss with your PS since he/she will have the benefit of seeing you in person.
