hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question its difficultd to evalute you if the case dont have a case.its recommend get a consultation in person with a plastic surgeon to evaluate you.
It is normal for there to be some asymmetry of the face, especially in the cheek bone area. Fillers to the cheeks and under eye area would be very effective. Whether Rhinoplasty will help is determined by whether your nose is deviated. By the one photo that you submitted, it is hard to tell. Perhaps there is some nostril asymmetry which could be addressed. Otherwise, the decision to have surgery should be based on whether you would like to change your nasal appearance in general.
To me, your face appears well within the normal range of human facial symmetry. Rhinoplasty may be indicated to adjust size and/or shape of nose and its relationship with surrounding structures, but not, in my opinion, to improve facial symmetry.
Hello and thank you foryour question and photograph. Although an exam in person is ideal, from your photographsalone it appears that you can benefit from a tip rhinoplasty where the nasaltip cartilage is modified for a more refined, feminine, and less projected look. If your septum is deviated and you have breathing difficulty, a septoplasty maybenefit you as well. In terms of filler, I think some lower eyelid filler can also benefit you in smoothing the transition between your lower eyelid and cheek... The next step foryou is to find the right aesthetic plastic surgeon. In yourrhinoplasty consultation, be sure your surgeon addresses all your aesthetic goalsand concerns specifically, and discusses the surgery details including theposition and size of the incisions used (with actual photographs and not justdigital animations), the risks and benefits of the procedure, recovery time, and post-operative course. Also, be sure to see plenty ofbefore-and-after pictures in women who have a similar nose appearance to yours, and preferably at different time frames (3 weeks out, 3 months out, etc) tomore accurately predict your own surgical outcome. After seeking out aboard-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery, Ithink the most important component of the consultation is to establish a goodconnection with your plastic surgeon. It’s the connection that allows youto clearly define your desired nose outcome goals, the first step of this wholeprocess. If you don’t feel you have a good connection with your plastic surgeonafter your consultation, he/she may not be the best surgeon for you.For more information onrhinoplasty, please refer to the link below.Good luck.Mark K Markarian, MD, MSPHHarvard-trained Board Certified AestheticPlastic Surgeon
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on yourphotograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon canaccomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in yourlower nose. This can be designed to help improve your facial symmetry. In regards to your lower eyelids, it would be helpful to evaluate you in person. Makesure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patientswho have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computeranimation system. The most important aspect is to find asurgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with aqualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Dear Realself user,Please keep in mind that all the faces are not completely symmetrical, and when you have a very straight nose sometimes the rest of the face can even look more asymmetrical so make sure you speak to an experienced surgeon for what can be done best for you.Best of luck.TAS Aesthetic Surgery Clinic
I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns. I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose? 2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide? 3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance? 4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?I hope some of these questions will help you pinpoint what it is that you don't like about your nose. Cost will vary due to various factors like anesthesia fees, facilities fees, etc. I wish you the best as you research your options when scheduling a rhinoplasty consultation.Sincerely,Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dear Dee 12186,Perhaps a better term would be harmony rather than symmetry. Rhinoplasty would not effect much of a change in your facial symmetry. If there are differences from side to side in your cheek or under eye areas, fillers can be used to balance them out. Good luck!
if your nose bothers you, then you should consider coming in for a consultation to be properly evaluated. Best of luck!
From the limited information provided, there is no obvious asymmetry to your face. Rhinoplasty may be indicated if you have a dorsal hump but that is not clear from your photo. Good luck.
