I always read it's recommended a lift and areola reduction for tubular breasts, but I would like to avoid that. I have no problem with my big areolas, and even a bit of sagging is okay, as long as I get a natural result with the augmentation and no visible scars (inframammary incision if possible). I don't need a drastical change, just impoving the size and the shape to be more aesthetic and proportionate with my body type. Do you think it 's possible? Thank you!
Answer: Breasts Your breasts are not tubular, but do sag. Just getting implants will give you larger and still sagging breasts. You would do best with a lift and enlargement.

Answer: Breast lift Thanks for sharing your photos! Without a lift, you will not get a desirable result. I hear what you are saying, but I would really encourage you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon and hear what they have to say. Good luck!

Answer: I think I have tuberous breasts, will they improve with implants even if the areola is not reduced? Hi. I would recommend breast implants and a breast lift to bring the breasts into your desired size and an appropriate shape to go with that. I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience in breast augmentation mastopexy. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell

Answer: Tuberous breasts Dear Madhf, tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall. The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition. My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries. That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Thank you for your question and photos… It would be necessary to evaluate you in person to properly advise you specifically, however based on your photos it would be difficult to achieve attractive breasts without a breast lift, and this would indeed result in scars around the areola and vertical midline of the breast, along with a scar in the fold more than likely. While we always try to heed our patients’ requests, we also need to share our knowledge and expertise with our patients. A pretty breast is proportionate to the rest of the body, the correct nipple/areola position and size in relation to the remainder of the breast, and the desired degree of roundness, upper pole fullness, and ptosis (natural droop). Please consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon whose results appeal to you based on his or her Before and After gallery. Best of luck to you.
