Hi Kristen. It is normal to have some hard spots with dermal filler injections. I believe you will be better in a week or two. I always suggest returning to see your injector about 2 to 3 weeks after the initial injection. In some cases, lumps have to be dissolved, but it does not sound like this will be the case with you.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. Some swelling and/or lumps can be typical after lip injections and will resolve in 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer
Congrats on your new look! The symptoms you’ve described are completely normal shortly after dermal fillers and should resolve on their own over the next few days, revealing your final results. You can apply a cold compress or ice pack to the area to help reduce the swelling. If you still have concerns about your results once the swelling and hardness have gone away, consult your plastic surgeon’s office.
Hi Kristen,Having a small lump after filer injections around the mouth is normal. You can usually massage it. But, I wouldn't get rid of it completely because that's what helps hold up the corners of your mouth up and help with volume loss in that area, as long as you can't see it from the outside. Hope that helps and ears your mind. Regards.
Thank you for your question. It is too early to determine what your final results will be. It is common to have some swelling and lumps after lip injections and should resolve in 1-2 weeks. You can gently massage the lumps to help smooth them out. If after 2 weeks you are unhappy with your results you can have the filler dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. Best of Luck!
3 days is very soon after hyaluronic acid lip injection. It will soften over time. With Juvederm, however, you MD might want to massage it at one week. You should not touch it yourself.
Thank you for your question and photos. It appears from your photo that the filler has migrated and has formed a pocket in your lips. If this persists after 2 weeks, I recommend having a follow up with your injector to have this dissolved. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. The best filler for the lips is determined when you discuss your goals with your physician. Juvederm and Restylane are both good fillers for the lips and patients tend to be very with them. However, your research should focus more on getting the best injector. I hope...
Thank you for your question! You can have great results with fillers. I would advise you discuss Restylane, Sculptra and Bellafill with your provider since they deliver more natural results and last longer. You need to find provider with experience so s/he can know where to inject fillers to ...
